Changing the front sprocket down a tooth improved my grom immensely so did the exhaust once removed but it was a tad loud. Good because ( being a small bike ) people SHOULD hear and see me.
Yeah, diameter of the standard pipe is quite small so should make a noticeable difference sticking on a bigger one. Been recommended going up on the rear instead of dropping the front as the chain wears quicker according to a monkey expert so have a +3 rear sprocket to go on, watch this space! 😬😁👍
@@twistandgo3414 I went down 1 and up on the back. You'll notice the difference 62mph 🤣 you get good Michelin tyres for the small bikes and are really priced good.
@@twistandgo3414 So, instead of waiting for the chain to wear "quicker", monkey expert recommended +3 at the back so you can change the chain now.? Cause I don't think you can fit +3 without changing the chain also.
@@nikos-giorgos i have a +3 tooth sprocket on the rear now, covered in one on the next videos already on the channel. Gives slightly more use of 5th gear but i’m actually now thinking about changing it back again the next time i service the chain. Will cover this in the next monkey video that i do which will be soon in the next couple of weeks. she is coming up for 1st birthday!
Thanks! , yeah, she's getting there, still loads to do to it to get it how I want it. Suspension, brakes and exhaust etc to go but its coming along. Be another vid on that in the next couple of weeks once I've added a bit more, although it's already changed a fair bit in a couple of weeks since this video 😂. I love riding it though, it's very addictive and they're cheap to buy. Once you get your mind in to riding at a more sedate speed and chilling out on it - they're just great! Thanks for watching!
Hello and thanks for watching! Not much really if im honest. Ive fitted a fly screen now too, only for aesthetics really; can't say it does an awful lot that I've noticed, but then the monkey doesn't go very fast either 😂.
From bens bikes racing. Can get different colours to match the bike too 😁..Daft little addition, but very cool! www.takegawauk.co.uk/product-page/big-foot-rear-brake-pedal-msx-125-monkey
yeah, i think it’s the camera. i can assure you, speeding and monkey are not something you use in the same sentence! No speed limits are harmed ever on a monkey 😂. Thanks for the comments and for watching.

Hi mate, what sort of wind noise do you get on that? I'm only plodding around town and wondered if a naked bike gets much at lowe speeds. Cheers
