You need to check the approximate quantity of seeds per pound. For example Genovese Basil has just shy of 280,000 seed per pound. Whereas Opal has about 360,000 seed per pound. So you planted something like 6200 seed in the Genovese flat and 8000 seed in the Opal.

YES! Thank you for saying not to lift or peak under till a few days. SO many like to lift and water daily. Which is fine if they like to do that. But then I see stuck seeds under the tray and that just make me feel ... ☹.

@@PrincetonMicrogreens I’ve done wow, from seeds. You can find Basil seeds at all Asian/Vietnamese grocery stores so NJ should have, But they are more likely the Thai Basil variety. eBay has seed sellers for many varieties including Italian Basil. Great video and Lab set up🙌🏽
