.....and all those shoots I never " needed" an X-Y dampner. One the reasons is the R2 motors are so strong. The other is I wanted to test and show what you can do without one. I was using athe cinemilled "iso mount" which is just a wire vibration isolator. That said........100% I do YES recommend using an X-Y dampner, there is no question it helps and relives the forces and pressures on the gimbal motors. As far as that goes.....it is just a mitchell mount on the end so you can use any vibration isolator you want or X-Y dampner also.
It was recently used in the Artic by a documentary crew on the back of a "artic" toyota hilux in -50 temps....he raved how well it worked the entire trip. I'm hoping to do a zoom call type interview with him as it sounds like an amazing trip. He did send me pictures I hope to share soon!

Yes it's included, YOu also get the shock pump, shock adjusting tool all in the custom case.

Does the arm come with a possibility to clamp to a single or a double 48.3mm (outer diameter) scaffold tube?
Not at this time. We are working on a solution for that.
