The 2nd Reformation dress will stand the test of time. Both are equallly beautiful in their own way. As you say, the ruffles are indeed lovely on the first dress but will be out of date next summer!!! The Sezane Zara and ASOS dresses are keepers!

Is it more important for you to have practical features (pockets and no slit) or is it more important to you to be super chic (high slit and ruffles!)? As far as travel goes, though, I’ll always prefer a dress with pockets over one without. Yes it’s usually just to house a stray hair tie but for some reason I just feel more prepared with pockets 😝

No I don't. In my opinion this red is not okay. I prefer something darker. Then the length. Not a fan of short dresses in general. And I think it is not the most accomplished item Sezane has made. Reformation dresses are cool but so expensive.
