one thing iv noticed with the caddy, not one single negative word out of his mouth even when you didn't like the shot gaz, he was always like that'll work or we can work this and even short putts or missed he's so positive with the player, must make the head space so much easier instead of beating yourself up mid round like i do, keep up the good content
It’s on top of the moors and has no irrigation. It’s at the mercy of the gods. That being said, the overall standard of the course away from the greens is also very poor. While it’s cheap to play, there’s tons of better courses in the area, that are much better value to play.
A lot of UK courses are having issues with growth due to the cold April/May. Soil temp of 8 degrees is needed for growth and this was not happening too much in the UK during Spring.
Nice round! Although you’ll have to go back when you get the normal Baildon wind 😃 If you enjoyed Baildon, I’d recommend Halifax (Ogden), which is also on top of the moors. It basically Baildon on steroids, including the views.
@@andrewhigham3734well there’s multiple views, but it’s a smashing viewpoint 360 degrees. I walk my dog up there most mornings. The course…not so good.

What’s up with the state of the greens??
If there's a problem with the greens, you can be sure the greenkeepers are doing there best to deal with it.
@@joekelleher3546 fair enough. 1st green looked like Beirut!

Tonight’s TV sorted
Nice course but greens looked poor. Difficult to trust a line and hole a putt

I had absolutely no idea there was a golf course up at Ogden. Might have to pay it a visit.
@@bl0ated_I’m biased but it’s a smasher. I was a member at Bingley St Ives before I joined Ogden, and I’d never move back.
Greens look terrible
Those greens are horrible!!
The 1st green 😂. Made me feel ill
Looks like a horrible course
That golf course is a shocker
