I have annoyed people to no end with witchcrafter in the months leading up to MR5. Though maindecking Jowgen, Secret Village and Summon Limit may have contributed to that
You never played duel links then. They've never been meta, but they've always been extremely annoying and frustrating there. Since Haine isn't in the game witchcrafter is basically an annoying stall deck in DL.

As both a Marincess, and witchcrafter enjoyer, I can agree with this, usually the plays are so straight forward you don't even need to think that hard about them, not to mention this matchup isn't even that hard, he's really just complaining because he has no idea how to play the deck.

I remember once playing against thunder dragons with witchcrafter and I stalled for multiple turns with just verre because his board of titan, borrelsword, borreload, levianeer and the thunder dragon lvl 8 chaos guy couldnt out my 1 sassy girl

yeah also new timer blows dick and actively incentivizes you to just click buttons and make more misplays. People need time to think on every interaction especially in higher ranks where there are many interactions to think about.

I mean witchcrafter is basically waiting your opponent to death. I play it with spellbooks and there is barely anything you can do. Spellbooks get insane value and witchcrafter steals the opponents value. You just outvalue them and pray that they don't ash you

Tbf verre is harder to get through if you sit on just 1 monster. Speaking from experience as someone who has a friend that uses witchcrafter since its release

Its not that bad actually. Atleast the grass looks greener version. The endboard usually is significantly stronger than that and it can recycle resources like crazy. I used it in the synchro event and I was clapping swordsoul left and right.

The 60 grass version of this deck is so annoying on MD. Playing against witchrafters feels the same like playing against dragonmaid. It's not a really good deck but it can take wins and playing against it feels like pulling teeth and even if you do win it doesn't really feel you did.
Honestly, I just started playing Master Duel after they shortened the time, and not knowing anything about the game it's just impossible to play properly when you don't even have time to read your own cards, let alone the enemies'.

You can’t use face down cards for fusion or ritual Summons only for Tribute summons 2. 1 Normal summon and 1 set or 2 sets (or 2 normal Summons) (Or or 1 set, 1 normal summon, 1 tribute Summon) 3. Normal Summoning in face-up defense position 4. Remove missing timing 5. Tokens can be use as xyz Material 6. Increase the Extra and side Decks to 20 Cards 7. Link monsters can be used as synchro material but count as level 0 ofc 8. Ritual monsters that say “YOU CAN ritual summon this card” can also be Special or Normal summoned like regular monsters. Only Rituals that say “MUST BE” must be ritual summoned. 9. when a monster attacks another monster that has higher DEF points it’s destroyed after damage calc. 10. any combination of cards with mutual links can be used to have control of a monster in both mid field Extra Monster Zones. Instead of just the U lock 11. Monsters in the Mid field Extra monster Zones can be used by either player for The summons of Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, XYZ, Link and tributes for tribute Summons. Now both players benefit and take a risk by using the Extra monsters zones 12. Smug Witch Control never stops being annoying. Can't wait for the Fusion so it can actually be scary too. Spellbook Engine with them is fun, but not really enough unless you're also on Reasoning AND Grass.
