- despite the fact that i despise rory and dean together, their relationship was an important part of the series. this video focuses on rory gilmore and dean foster from ‘the WB’. throughout season one, we start to see rory and dean’s relationship blossom. as we enter season two, we are introduced to a new character named jess. this would be the beginning of a long-lasting love triangle. this video focuses on dean’s point of view.

I think Dean loves her so hard, that he’d go back with her too many times as possible, because he always saw her like his first and real love of his entire life
I was Team Dean in season 1, but later on I could’nt understand what Rory saw in him. Other than the fact he was good-looking. He had no ambitions for his adult life, yet put Rory down whenever she was concerned about college or her hone life/other love for reading. His feelings and priorities were more important, and he would always moan, yell and scream at Rory every time he didn’t get his way with her, or with other boys. (Plus cheated on Lindsay with her, Luc was spot on when he said Dean does’nt deserve Rory.)

They just grow apart when Rory when to college, and it feels like Dean is the only one adjusting to their relationship which makes this kinda one sided relationship. Rory and Dean really encapsulates that first/teenage kinda love but as the seasons went by it just won't work. Feeling really sorry for Dean tho he seems to love Rory so much

She was the one who kept playing with his feelings though, kept dragging him along. She couldn't stand seeing him with another girl yet when she had him, she always wanted someone else like it makes no sense, she was never content with him. But despite that I loved them together even though their whole relationship was one sided

My heart belongs to Rory and Jess, but I think this song is very fitting for Dean and Rory. Dean did treat her better than Jess, in a lot of things, but he got jealous over time and started yelling at Rory over little things. I stand by my opinion that Jess and Rory are soulmates.

Dean was sweet and a good person ,but he became controlling and i know her definitely loved Rory but he didn't let her any space ( he used to call her 100 times a day etc).
On the other hand jess was afraid to show his emotions, because he was raised this way in a house were he couldn't rely to anyone but himself. He truly loved Rory and i wanted them to end up together so badly

No it’s not, Jess and Rory are endgame it’s even implied in the Revival. Logan is her Christopher but Jess is her Luke. It’s the full circle like the author intended.

@@ruethedaycarly Mostly because he was jealous/angry/controlling and Rory as afraid of him, Rory didn't have enough in common with him and did with her other boyfriends, and she subjectively didn't have as much chemistry with Dean as she did with Logan and/or Jess.
@@ruethedaycarly Like when he told Rory he was getting a divorce with Lindsay, when Lindsay clearly had no clue this was going to happen. Instead, she was trying to save their marriage by cooking a meal for him. Sure, Rory is to blame here too, but that doesn't make him any less manipulative.
@愛love There are a lot of negative words to describe Rory. However, childish is objectively wrong. She was very mature when she was younger. She was 100% bratty. But not childish. Also, Rory gave no reason for Dean to be insecure about Tristan. She hated Tristan for most of the first season. They never had a close relationship until he was leaving and she felt bad. They kissed once, then she cried. Maybe she gave Dean a reason to be insecure about Jess, but he only fueled it by becoming more possessive.
