I do not think they are just done with NMS but for sure this is THE BIG MEAL before starting to consider NMS as the test bed for the new game. we may have 4-8 new expeditions with more core mechanic changes and lore rich stories more but they wont be as big as the last 4 ones.

I was a very annoyed my Paradise home planet was transformed to a sad, more dead than alive looking planet during Part 1 and I actually haven't played since, but all those exploration updates... yep, reinstalling as I type this. Very much motivated to look for a new home again. (And tempted to start a abandoned save - as an explorer, this sounds very fun.)
Finally. Have been waiting for ship storage for so long. Am a bit of a ship collector, and have pretty much had to stop playing because I don't want to get rid of my current ships lmao. Cool expedition ships have made things even more difficult.
@Jalahr77 Yeah, they could sell it to NMS buyers at an optional discount(i feel like most people would pay full price regardless) and have it accessible through the NMS client almost like an expansion.
I would assume that because the light no fire planet is earth scale that it wouldn't work as the other planets do and would have to be accessible through a wormhole that loads up the LNF client and you can then freely land on the planet in real time.

I just want them to do a universe reset already so that most planets can actually benefit from everything that has been overhauled. If they crazily still have more Worlds update parts to release I can accept that they want to hold off while everything is constantly changing, but the game is not going to be very cohesive with so much locked till endgame until they finally decide to stop with these stop gap measures.

My Paradise settlement planet became a Foggy Planet and turned my Paraffinium mine into a Faceum one.

Been away from NMS for a bit, so seems like the perfect time to return do the Titan expedition and make that my new main save.

I'd love to see it too, but People would lose their minds if they reset all the builds. it's bad enough having planets change under your base.
