  • Why am I having chest pain? I'm a young woman with no risk factors?
    -- Typical SCAD patient.
Like so many survivors Stephanie's chest pain was not recognized as a SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection) heart attack, and at age 28 it was the last thing she thought could be happening to her. To improve awareness, please share this video with any woman you know who has had chest pain whose cause has not been specifically identified.
At www.scadresearch.org/about/ are links to three flyers, one for patients, one for emergency room personnel, and one for EMTs. Consider sharing them with any healthcare professionals or emergency responders you know.
