Round 5 I had James' Tangerine Templars, they were no joke and managed a close win. But the difficulty of each game isn't necessarily taken into account when it's VP only, but SoS or Win Path aren't perfect by any means - so that's a tricky one! I for one would be all for pods/multiple tournaments. Great job to the 4 that did make it for sure! Somehow I still haven't played you 2 guys, but maybe 2024 is the year 😊

Hey guys, super amazing format! I loved the deepsives into the lists! So good. One question regarding the hypercrypt legion list. Is the turn 1 hyperphasing/teleportation correct explained? I thought the ruling in WTC is clear? If you put your units in hyperphasing the count as strategic reserves. strategic reserves are not allowed to come back on the board before turn 2. Even if they have the deepstrike ability??? Im totaly confused, because i also take a HCL list to tournaments this month... So is it possible to give the correct ruling? Or has the Nottingham Super Major a houseruling regarding this? Greetings from Germany!!!
Greetings! It's basically per-TO, at nottingham they've ruled turn 1 hyperphase IF you hvae deepstrike, if you go into strat reserves, you can't use it turn 1.
@@firesidepodcast9977 completely agree, the only things it has effected are Szeras' buff and the Tomb Sentinel, neither of which were melee powerhouses 😅
