Great video! My best flip so far is probably some Triumph motorbike trousers £15 from the Charity shop into £65 + postage. Still hunting down that £100+ sale!!
Great video again James - very informative ! I'm really new to this but best snipe two pairs of Desmond & Dempsey PJs - £18 inclusive - washed them - sold for £60 and £50! - Luxury Pickers featured them on a TKMAXX what to look out for video - PJs that cost > £120 in Harrods & Selfridges 😱 who'd have thought it 😂 Always a pleasure to see your videos
Best recent find for me was bowling pins 😂 At my local bowling alley they was selling old bowling pins for £1 each I got 10 sold all 10 for £100 then the buyer message saying he wants another 10 sold I when back got 10 more and boom he paid again 😂 now he wants another 30 😮
We recently found a playmobil set no 3500 massive victorian house from aprox 1989 still totally sealed inside... used sets going for 250 plus no idea whatvthis could be worth also set 5320 never opened Great channel cheers
Grove Encyclopedia Of Music, all 9 books and fifth edition so from the 1950s. Found in an Oxfam everything must go sale, 50p for 3 books so only £1.50 for the lot! Not selling though as I've become emotionally attached 😂 loving the vids mate keep them coming ☺️
I love GSP, my best sales 2 sales over £200 was GSP. Apart from one of them getting lost 😂 Also had a mishap and sent the wrong item through GSP the other day. £60 lost 😭
We’ve all been there, I sent the wrong HiFi component once, ended up losing around £120… 😐 It’s a brilliant service, everyone should be using it - just a pain when things go wrong 😆
The thing is you have to have a really good eye to spot some of the fakes these days as there getting so much better in quality. I personally haven’t necessarily got the eye for clothing yet…
That’s actually not true about them automatically declaring it counterfeit it the condition doesn’t match the listing etc, if the condition isn’t as described you’ll be told that’s the reason and you won’t get a counterfeit strike at all, whoever was checking them must of thought they were counterfeit because of how the size tag looks because of how old they are
Yeah definitely. I do find the Irish call centre to be much more human and relatable than the others. So always good when you hear them on the other side 😅
They can tell you the reason why they failed inspection in terms of doesn’t match photos or description but they can’t tell you the reason why they believe they’re not authentic, I sell through eBay authentication daily
Ebay "fake" policy is BOLLOCKS. I had a brand new game which I bought from Waterstones and they refused them. They asked for the receipt (I bought it at least 5 years ago) and they STILL said the game was fake. Utter bullshit.
They can tell you. I just had some sent back and they were genuine they told me the box was damaged so they failed them. They’ve been damage in delivery so they checked there cctv and it was in my favour and sent trainers back and gave me £50
@@step9624 yeah makes sense because you could alter it and send em back potentially again. I had shoes fail before because they smelt of smoke. Brand new shoes too. I never noticed, they did tho when I smelt them when they got back.
Because it’s no fault of mine. So eBay let me keep the funds and refund the buyer out their pocket. They were the ones that allowed the sale to go though. No fault of mine or the buyers.
Could you not have messaged the seller and offered him the item again at a reduced rate but outside of gsp maybe just Royal Mail international post? Would be that extra mile for them 🎉
Nice sales there! My best so far was yesterday morning bought a schoffel gilet from the charity shop for £7.50 and sold same day for £110
Mega find! These charity shops still have some potential in them 😎
Im near guildford and got 0 snow, even in farnborough it only sleeted for a few mins. So close yet so far.
I stay away from international sales its a pain in the butt
GSP is definitely worth it, one of the best things eBay has ever introduced. Just don’t sell batteries like I did 🙄
Glad you got it all sorted and good to know these things happen and how to help ourselves. Bless CeCe, not enjoying the snow yet!!🤣
She warmed to it later on in the day, can understand why she’d be a little scared tbh 😂 first time we’ve had it that heavy ⛄️

Epic! Solid sale there, hopefully you took advantage of the free fees too?
Get onto Vinted, I see motorcycle gear like this all the time 👀
@@JammyDodgerFlips Yep about 90p on promoted fee but otherwise no fees! Really will have to have a look on there!! 👀

Lovely stuff!! LPs knowledge is next level 🔥 I need to hit those TK Max shops more often! 🙌🏼
My latest - Dale of Norway jumper brought for £10 from the charity shop sold for £100
Boom! Love a nice £10 to £100. I need to get my knowledge up on clothing 😅

Haha that’s so random but it’s always the random things that sell the best 🤑🤑👊🏼
My best profit was £10 vinted Celine bag, into £1500 on depop 😅
Now I buy and resell bags part time.
£1500 Depop sale! Haha that’s mad 👏🏼👏🏼
@@JammyDodgerFlips I couldn’t quite believe it , I was sure I would get lowball offers 😂
When I was around 15 I bought a little handbag from a lady at a car boot for 50p/£1 maybe and there was a £20 note in the pocket! Profit baby 😂
Haha what a win! I had similar with a hiking bag, around £25 inside it, all in old notes… switched them at the bank for the new ones 😂🤑
I found a almost new offshore sailing jacket in a charity shop for £25, sold on ebay for £200. Found a few running shoes recently too, £15 to £40ish
That’s a lovely flip! 😎👏🏼
My best buy is Yeezy bought for £1.50 from jd sports clearance shop in clacton .
Sold for £150
Really good video. No wonder this guy does well!!
Much love 🫶🏼 keep up the grind!
I won’t use eBay in Japan we use yahoo auctions . They are known as to be a nightmare to deal with. Mecari is really good as well
Yahoo, now there’s a throwback! Appreciate you watching 🇯🇵😊

That’s insane! Anything sealed from those years is going to hold good money, especially playmobil. Aim high and hold out for the right buyer. 🙌🏼🔥

I'm with your daughter, I have the same reaction when it's snowing 😂😂 roll on warmer weather lol
Eventually she warmed to it 😂 don’t blame her must be weird to see for the first time ⛄️
Definitely though, missing the sunny boot sales already!

Yeah from personal experience, it’s even harder to spot fakes with clothing, hence why I do shoes only 😅
@ fair play. Yeah I tend to stay away from clothing other than hats, caps oh and recently varsity style bomber jacks 🤪
I sell replicas all day on eBay , £69 same quality as originals. I don’t think people care mate 😂😂😂😂😂
Picked up a canon digital camera for £2 sold listings £100+ 😀👍🏻
Yess! Some of the digital cameras hold some huge money 🤑
Tell ben fitzpatrick we want an update video about his reselling journey. It's been too long!

they can tell you why they failed inspection, it's happened to me. Got the reasoning and because they were incorrect, I was issued £50 compensation.
Oh wow, you must’ve got them on a good day. Always luck of the draw contacting eBay 😬
@@JammyDodgerFlips Honestly, I think they just make things up to avoid actually dealing with their mistakes. You just have to be persistent.

Yeah the riffs were faked quite a lot, I remember early 2000s abroad they would be at all the shops/stalls in Spain when I went there multiple times.
Handy to know! 99% sure these ones were good 😅
Of course mot centre tells you why there is a sale
I don’t get why you got to keep the money unless the batteries have even scrapped.
Because it’s no fault of mine. So eBay let me keep the funds and refund the buyer out their pocket. They were the ones that allowed the sale to go though.
No fault of mine or the buyers.
So what you gonna do with the nikes now? Back on vinted?
Currently in the death pile, maybe they’ll end up at the boot sale. eBay don’t like you to relist once they’ve returned for the ‘counterfeit’ reason.
Is there a link for your eBay ?
What you going to do with the rifts then?
I’ll find a way to shift them 👀 might not get the original £80 though
Re the battery, can you not arrange for him to buy outside if eBay now and send direct?
Unfortunately not, eBay will have you for outside of eBay dealing. Had this before, they give you a warning and then account can be at risk.
Could you not have messaged the seller and offered him the item again at a reduced rate but outside of gsp maybe just Royal Mail international post? Would be that extra mile for them 🎉
Yes could potentially do that. Would be a nice touch of service 👌🏼
Spotting fakes is easy you can tell 😂
Exactly
