I'm usually not a big fan of Rose Gardens but, this garden is fantastic. Makes me think of how to use more Roses in the garden. Thanks for the awesome tour. Idaho, USA
I loved this garden! The diversity of the perennials.. Loved the fountain and that garden. There was a teal color plant that looked like a hosta near the fountain. Very interesting colors and mixture of shapes and textures. Loved all the water features and the amazing old trees.. especially with a rose growing up the one. The views of the pastures and rolling hills with sheep.. How bucolic.
While the flowers/perennials are beautiful, those old trees look so amazing! The history & preservation! This garden is so unique and out of this world with the vista view and high elevation! Wish I could go there some day (and be able to climb those steps :) TY so much for the virtual trip!!!
I too visited this garden, Summer 2023, and agree that the variety of plants coupled with its location make it so uniquely wonderful. Thanks for sharing! 🌹
Thank you. I’ve never seen anything so bleeping beautiful! How I wish to visit someday. It’s so inspiring to see the beauty and know the work of so many people to create this. That they chose to make a beautiful creation to share with humanity rather than sitting on the ass complaining about how they forgot to take their medication or how horrid their husband is restores my faith in humanity. 🙏
That is a beautiful garden. I love the pops of blue, especially the blue door. I love seeing the different flowers, they are so pretty. I think I saw some Cistus in there. Thanks for the lovely garden stroll :)
I really appreciated this video. I'd gotten to see this garden in 2016 but our time there was limited and a few spots were roped off because it had rained and was too soggy for foot traffic. Other spots I just managed to miss. I take a lot of photos and lag behind the group in order to get them. :-P Still ... such a gorgeous garden. When we were there those two-toned peonies up near the house were in full flower ... absolutely gorgeous and full of blooms. The famous rose was not open yet though. I loved seeing some of what I missed. Thank you again!
That was fabulous! Love the green hedges as backdrop. Flowers were amazing & it seems to go on forever & ever! Took a screen grab of fountain scene for home screen, so beautiful!. Hope they don’t mind.
occasional plant names would be nice, I see a lot of repetition but some perennials are not common in my area , also what are best months to visit to see such lovely abundant display of blooms ? date stamp is needed
@@TheRoseGeek ah I see, well I didn't see the Rosa filipes kiftsgate in the tour, maybe I looked away but that's the biggest rose in the UK and it's there at kiftsgate. I loved the video by the way!
I don't understand how everything is blooming at the same time!?? you can never see daisy , Lilly and peony bloom simultaneously in my garden , I'm so confused ))) also astilbe and rose next to each other ?? don't they have opposite light requirements ?
It would have been so helpful if you had put the name of roses on the screen so we could see the spelling Sometimes it was difficult to understand what you were saying. I would have loved the names of some of the beautiful perennials also.
Just tried to watch this beautiful garden. It was spoilt by the camerawork everything was a blur. Slow down and show us the flowers take your time. I like to see the flowers up close not just a blurry quick scan. I wish it was different as it looked so lovely
I agree. I didn't like the sound of the dining room near that front garden. I am going to visit again and will play music over that portion to make it more enjoyable to view.
Thank you. It is very kind of you to share your visit with us.
This was my favorite that we went to. Thanks for capturing it for us forever! Thanks for bringing me on your rose adventures!
Love and enjoy watching the beautiful scenery.
This was such an easy-going and peaceful tour Kimberly. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome! I enjoyed sharing this garden with you.
This garden really speaks to me.
Beautiful. I love the front garden. Delphiniums, peonies, hydrangeas, stunning red roses. Wow. The views from the gardens there are fantastic.
Beautiful

You can email the garden directly and ask. Perhaps attach a screenshot of it from this video. It’s a gorgeous garden! 🌹

Kiftsgate was my favorite garden on the tour. After watching Kimberley's videos again, Kiftsgate is still my favorite.
What month did you were visited this beautiful garden? Would like to visit this year! I am from Ireland..
Очень красиво! Спасибо Вам!
Sure that's Paul's Himalayan musk, could be Rosa filipes kiftsgate?
@@TheRoseGeek ah I see, well I didn't see the Rosa filipes kiftsgate in the tour, maybe I looked away but that's the biggest rose in the UK and it's there at kiftsgate. I loved the video by the way!
I don’t garden it I want to now after seeing your video.

Did you find an enormous rambling rose named Felipes Kiftsgate?
I did! I wish I had taken a photo of it.
It would have been so helpful if you had put the name of roses on the screen so we could see the spelling Sometimes it was difficult to understand what you were saying. I would have loved the names of some of the beautiful perennials also.
Thank you for the feedback. I am hoping to have another trip and will see if I can improve the videos.

I am sorry.
All the noise of visitors has turned that peace of that gardens into a bus station .Or supermarket
I agree. I didn't like the sound of the dining room near that front garden. I am going to visit again and will play music over that portion to make it more enjoyable to view.
You gone too fast on the other flowers that weren’t roses!! 😕😕😕
Pity there was no subtitles for the deaf to follow.
I am so sorry about that! I will check to see if there is something I can update.
To much clutter
