You the shadow dude is a being created by kidman's doubts, but manipulated by Ruvik to go and try to kill her. She wishes to get herself away from mobious, but finds out it would only ruin if not end her life if she does.
Omg. I found the wife. I understand Ruvik's plan and everything and that Seb never woke up. But how does that explain who killed Seb's daughter and kidnapped Seb's wife? I also don't understand Ruvik's backstory,all I know is he got burned in a fire and his sister died in that fire. Also,is the Myra that appeared at the end the same Myra Seb is married to? So many unanswered questions and their not even gonna make a Evil Within 2. Real tragic.

Together, he and the doctor created STEM with the goal of linking people's consciousnesses for advanced therapy treatment purposes. Mobius financed the project and it became clear that Dr. Jimenez was of no use without Ruben's brilliant mind. But the doctor took credit for his work because he was not an established scientist of repute himself, fragmenting their partnership. Once it became clear that Ruben planned to use STEM for the personal goal of domination, Mobius ripped his body apart and used him against his will to power STEM since they could not bypass the need for his genetic code to make it work. They dubbed him Ruvik as a cruel joke, stripping away his humanity. When his consciousness interfered with their experiments on the patients at Beacon, turning them into the Haunted, Dr. Jimenez tried to remove Ruvik from STEM by taking out his brain. This didn't work, as Ruvik's conscious mind had become so strong from absorbing the minds of others within STEM that he remained inside without the physical brain. Every monster encountered by Juli, Sebastian, and Joseph in STEM is a manifestation of Ruvik's hatred fusing and influencing the broken minds of others that have entered. Butters i think because of people's low understanding of game's story, the game has took bad reviews. but in fact its only lackness is horrible level. first game is more scarier, but second's school scenes are pretty creepy. also second game has better storytelling and graphics. most people would change their mind when dlc comes out i guess.
