Hi Nerida, thank you for the new series of teaching. I’ve been looking forward to your new teaching.
Also, I meant to ask you a simple question on your previous teaching about the OT misunderstanding of God’s nature. While I agree that God is love, I don’t know if it is simply that OT writers wrote something wrong about God…Take 1 Samuel for example; the book was written by Samuel, and it was his interpretation that God closed Hannah’s womb. If all scriptures are breathed and inspired by God, it seem contradictory that Samuel would have such blatant misunderstanding of God’s nature and wrote it in the Bible. Can it be due to the fact that OT and NT believers had different relationships with God and therefore different perspectives, not necessarily misunderstanding?
In any case, my spirit tells me God is absolutely a good a father because of Jesus. Thank you again.

Thank you for your comments. Yes they had a different perspective but not all their inspirations and perspectives were accurate. Being inspired by God doesnt mean He did]crated to them. Many still wrote their their own interpretation and world view. The Bible is true, what they said, wrote and believed was true but not everything is the truth. There is a lot more to consider when reading Scripture. Sometimes we need to dig a bit deeper. I shared on this very passage in my message on Hannah’s prayer which you will find on my Channel under live recordings. I also covered some of this in my other message on Does God close the womb? I have also just completed a 10 part series on the Book of Job where I go into a lot of detail on Bible interpretation. I have included a lot of exerts from commentaries and Biblical Scholars to back up what I share. However this won’t be available until early in the New Year.

@@NeridaWalker Thank you Nerida. I actually watched your teachings twice, and they were the reason I had the question earlier on OT writers' misunderstanding of God's nature. And this morning it occurred to me that Samuel might have gotten that interpretation of God closing Hannah's womb from Hannah herself directly, as she told him the stories when he was young. Thanks again!
