It's only fair. I hate it when people go around posting videos of "their" scripts without any modification and don't give credit to the original authors. The way I see it, if the problem with the RPG Maker games is as some people say that "all the games are the same", then it's up to the community to share resources so that anyone can make games with different flavors ^__^ Enjoy the scripts.
Finally i see theos side view battlers. Im having a hard time learning to make it function big time. Do you think you can do a tutorial on using his script and skill creation?
I have a tutorial series for one of the scripts for XP (the KreadEX Ar Tonelico system) and sometime this year I will do one for combining Galv side battlers with the Moghunter effects for VXA, although I'm not sure when as I'm a bit strapped for time ^__^ But keep an eye out.
Guts I'll start recording the tutorial for Galv+Moghunter tomorrow morning. Real world happened and I haven't been able to do much with rpg maker, but I have some free time for the rest of the week :)
I look forward to it, also for some people who might need help, theo just uploaded his battle sequence editor which u could do one on that too if its not to much. he made a in game editor to view the custom skills you created without having to go all the way back into the game to view that it works correctly. must say I like it but there are some things to be added for icon showing, that part is limited

As far as I'm aware, you can only run one major battle or functionality script at the same time, so for example mixing Scala (major Chrono Trigger battle system overhaul), XAS (Major Zelda battle system overhaul), and Tankentai (major Final Fantasy battle system overhaul) is as far as I know impossible. But if they are visual scripts you can mix them. You can, for example, use Symphoria, add Galv's Animated Battlers, Shooting Game, and Fishing Game scripts, use Khas Awesome Lights, and add a Moghunter HUD.
Not sure I agree with takentai being a top script. Enu made the most infuriating script, and still uses XP coding, breaking compatibility and tweaking more than should be. I'd say Victor Engine or Kread's Animated Battlers for the top sideview systems. Both require a bit of setting up, but they're a lot more compatible with other scripts and more easily customisable - just in my opinion, of course.

I also do like KreadEx, but when I tried to integrate it with other scripts it didn't work out too well. I'm sure it's something I was doing wrong, but still. And you're absolutely right on Enu, but as I played around with it I felt that despite lack of compatibility it was really versatile as a stand alone script. Tho you're right, maybe I shouldn't have included that one. It was probably the whole nostalgia I really liked it back in XP so it's similar thing ^__^
hi I know this was a long time ago but can you help me? I want to use the Pearl Action System one and I have copied and pasted the scripts and most of it works fine but for some reason I can't use my weapon and it comes up with no error. I looked at the instructions and it says it won't work unless I "use the notetag system" but I have no idea what a notetage is or where to put it. I am new to using rpg maker so this is a noob question I know but please someone help. I am so tantalisingly close to getting it to work it hurts! XS
You can do easy ATB with Tankentai, Theolized, Moghunter, and Fomar from the ones in the vid. You can also do ATB with Victor Engine and Yanfly, but those are far more robust and require more than just plug and play.
Sadly there are no Tales of battle scripts for VXA that I'm aware of. There used to be one linked in hbgames, but the link is no longer active and the thread is closed. If you want a Tales of like menu, then you can find them fairly easy. It depends on what you want. To me, MV is the better program. However, VXA has more community resources. The real question is, do you want to really learn the program to make games and publish them, or are you thinking more about it as "to see what PRG Maker can do"? Because right now MV is on sale in Steam at 50%, and if you're committed to making something I recommend that you get it. But if all you want is to try it out, I recommend you get VXA which often goes on sale for 5$ in humble bundle.

I'm not familiar with Grand Chase, but I wouldn't be surprised if Yami (maker of the Symphoria Engine) used her as inspiration for the logo. There you will see the default assignment of keys, and you can reassign them. I tried SPACEBAR, SPACE, and an empty space, but none of those worked. Sorry I can't be more help.

The Pearl ABS is one of the harder ones to integrate into existing projects, since it's pretty much a full new system. I recommend that you donwload the demo and work from it as a base. +Willie Murray To The Moon has a bunny, and You Are Not the Hero has the hero as an enemy ^__^ Seriously tho, the "slime" has been a staple of JRPG inspired games since Dragon Warrior/Quest. You don't HAVE to have them, but it's an easy way of telling the player "this is the weak enemy for you to level up."

petermanbam I think I get what you mean - you already made a game in default RPG Maker and now want to add Pearl to it. It will probably be easier if you open your game and the Falco demo and copy your maps and events into the Falco system. As for the configuration, you can find it under the "scripts" section towards the bottom. The instructions are under the Documentation script, and each of the sections is well documented. I'm right now working on tutorials for Moghunter but when I'm done I can do a basic one for Falco.

i did it doesn't work like when i press F to attack it wont do anything am i doing something wrong

Why do Rpg Maker games ALWAYS have SLIME as an enemy? ::sigh::

Seriously tho, the "slime" has been a staple of JRPG inspired games since Dragon Warrior/Quest. You don't HAVE to have them, but it's an easy way of telling the player "this is the weak enemy for you to level up."

The thing is that i have made a game and i want it there !!and i cant fin the config
petermanbam I think I get what you mean - you already made a game in default RPG Maker and now want to add Pearl to it. It will probably be easier if you open your game and the Falco demo and copy your maps and events into the Falco system. As for the configuration, you can find it under the "scripts" section towards the bottom. The instructions are under the Documentation script, and each of the sections is well documented. I'm right now working on tutorials for Moghunter but when I'm done I can do a basic one for Falco.
