Strange that he looks unhappy here at a ceremony recognising the rescuers. He looks as though he’s been crying and is clearly uncomfortable at points like being held by the chap on his right.

Just saw this rescue on you tube from 2013. Did the Mayor keep hjis promise to grant land to the boys family for them to build a house on. Does anyone know if this was done. The Boy who carried out rescue rescue was very brave. My comment posted 17.02.20.

I read that wasn't the only time this lad had jumped into action to save someone. Before this, he saw a car accident and attended those in the car until help got there. Another was a class mate who had a bike accident, he saw to it he made it home. The intervention helped get the boy immediate medical care for an injured knee. Christian had said his dream was to be a firefighter. It wouldn't surprise me that he is that now.
