Apple Carplay Unit I Installed: amzn.to/44WaRB9
Thanks for this video I installed my head unit step by step you showed here the only issue I have is I can not control on the steering wheel not working but is not a big deal for me the radio is a big upgrade for me and the touch screen is very responsive and accurate now my next project is upgrading the speakers
You should also put a link off the adaptor you have,Found it difficult trying to find right one,Great video and info
Currently looking to get into a 2018 crv but only thing holding me back is no CarPlay which is insane to me. I had a 2016 Chevy that came with CarPlay from the factory. This video gives me all the hope if we decide to get the vehicle. Thanks!
my 2017 crv has carplay, how does 2018 not have it
My husband and I watched your video for our Honda 2018 CRV CarPlay install. We realized we could not do it. We went to 2 different local stereo shops and they said we would have to get a new radio. They were trying to sell us a Pioneer CarPlay unit and a radio. We are trying to find someone like you to pay to install the unit you installed. Any suggestions what to do. Also, it looked like you put the original radio back in your CRV. Am I correct? Does it work like before. Thanking you in advance for any thoughts you might have or suggestions. Thank you, Paulette (I live on the Central Coast of California.)
Does this head unit block the flow of air from those top vents though? Looking to replace the screen in mine
@@tylerxaysana Yes, partially. Not really able to get great ac airflow to the face from those vents after the install. Still worth it imo
What if you don't have purple wire for steering wheel
4GB of RAM really isn't enough for an Android device, which is likely the main reason for the lag.
