I have read the third book in Soul Riders and (now there will be spoilers) Sabine did not want to agree with Katja and the other girl who I think is named Jessica. It sounds quite logical that Sabine is the fire witch and Katja the ice witch: they are quite different in that case. But I do not really remember everything, but I got more of a feeling that Sabine did not like Dark Core than that she did not like Katja and Jessica. This may not be such an important part, but it does matter: Sabine said "All for Garnok", but Jessica and Katja did not answer. She repeated it, and they answered. she got claws instead of hands then too, I do not really remember if it was before she said it or after, but I think it was after. I think I have added some unnecessary details, but I wanted to include as much as I could because that book has not been published in English yet.
Ok but hear me out, the first moment when we meet Kallters in the game they mysteriously appear from benath the trees and you get the point of view of someone watching you, and the second time it happens (the perspective of aomeone watchibg you in Dino Valley) its Dark Riders 😳
Katja seems to be some kind of a goddess to Kallters. Many tribes have their own godly creatures they worship. If she's immortal, maybe she was one of them when they arrived to Jorvik, like she was with them since the beginning, maybe she used to be an important person in the tribe or something, so they worship her. Idk, her new outfit just makes me consider her, like, one of them?
Also, maybe, if she was with them from the beginning, maybe she turned dark under the magic of garnok since the kalters r so close to him? Just a thought
This makes a lot of since. And the thing with Sabine having fire. What if all the darkriders somehow represent the elements? Katja-ice, Sabine-Fire and Jessica and Elise being either earth and wind. Since we dont know much about Elise yet, I dont really want to draw any conclusion to that tho.
Also, maybe the kalters returned through the Icengate back to their village because Katja somehow found out about the player socializing with them and then telling them to come back.
Eleanor Cometstream Yeah thats her. But since they made such a difference with the new soulriders, I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the darkriders like that aswell.
you could be right it sounds very real. And I do suppose that ice is kind of like water because the way I heard of it the 4 natural elements are earth fire water and air great theory 😊
I think Katja is a kallter herself. I mean the concept art is kind of "winter-y" and tribal. So it would make sense. I think they added the grey to her white shade to show that she has been "consumed by evil and darkness" and now is a dark spirit.
I always thought Mr Sands, his goons, and the dark riders were all aliens from outer space, at least according to SSL. But SSO might have changed that... or not, who knows...
@@QuinnOakhearthSSO I always thought they were aliens too. SSL made that pretty clear. But SSO has definitely started walking away from the original story.
Not necisserily.. it still feels like they're from someplace else, although they're kind of more realistic about it in the sense that they pose as realistic humans.. I mean, we've established that they're not human, so surely they must originate from somewhere other than earth, right?
@@laurac.405 I think they just act as normal humans, and have materialized alongside Sands and his goons from their spaceship to Jorvik; that's what Fripp told to Alex in SSL4
I absolutely adore your theories! Something I think is worth adding is what Fripp said to Alex in SSL4 (sorry if it was mentioned and I missed it): "Garnok is still trapped in the ship with his generals. But they are doing everything they can to release him from his prison." "But how can they walk around Jorvik?" "These creatures are not human. They have powers beyond your imagination! The generals use their mental powers to materialize in Jorvik - like Mr. Sands, Jessica and Katja." So they definitely aren't just some random teenagers.
that's what I was thinking the whole time!! so many people forget about that and I think it's such an important fact to know. (sorry I'm 3 years late lol)
I am in the middle of doing a main story quest where James has his dream. When they ask him what he sees, I believe he says a very beautiful, icy woman. Take that as you will ❄️
I have a theory about the dark generals, based on the first book. I haven't read the second or third either so I don't have a lot of information, so spoilers for the first book! When Lisa,Linda and Alex are spying on Sabine in the school parking lot the book describes her like this: "suddenly,Sabine looked up,straight at the bushes where they were hiding.she sniffed the air like a predator." And "she quickly slinked towards the bushes.Sabine made Lisa remember a very strong tiger she had seen in the zoo when she was little.Sabine was tall and powerful and prowled along the bushes just like an animal stalking its prey." When Anne sees Jessica sitting next to Corcorde in his stall she was described as this:"Jessica was sitting next to him, her long legs crossed and entwined in a way that shouldn't be possible for a human being. She reminded Anne of a large poisonous spider poised to attack". Mr sands was described: "His pointy chin and crooked nose made him resemble a bird of prey". And also later in the book when Carl is on the helipad "he felt that he was being watched. His mind travelled back to an osprey he once saw on a fishing trip. He recalled the way the bird soared above the mirror smooth water in ever tighter circles until it suddenly plunged and snatched up its prey". My theory is that all of the generals' true forms are like wild animals. Garnok is an octopus so to me it made sense that the others would take forms similar to other creatures. I know that it's a MASSIVE stretch but I couldn't stop thinking about it while I was reading the book. I just thought it was weird that all of them were described in such a way. It's probably just a really small thing but I felt I needed to say it.
I actually have a theory planned for later, about an entirely different character, that might support this and could be used as evidence... It also makes sense because of the bond Jorvegians have with their horses. Like the soul riders can talk to their horses.. it's kind of like all the animals on the island are much more human-like, y'know?
The dark riders / generals are talking to each other and saying things like "this body is uncomfortable" etc. They are not human , they are some other dark creature, I don't think pandorian though. I've read all three books and there will be more hints to them not being human. For example they can't drown or die from falling off a bridge. Mr. Sands has made a deal with Garnok for eternal life so he's several hundred years old, but he was a mortal human to start with so I doubt him having another form of a creature. The question is not anymore IF they are another creature, but WHAT creature they are as original form. The books contain really fascinating details that can't be found anywhere else..
I think this is a really good point and maybe but I have a feeling that was just to make a point, describe it in a way that we could picture easily. I do agree that they aren't human though (it's made pretty obvious throughout the books and games) but I think they probably aren't the classic 'animals' (such as a tiger or spider). What I think is that they're from the place where Garnok is from and are some creature from there but more like 'witches' than 'tigers'. But idk, I hope I didn't come off rude just wanted to put in another opinion lol x
I dont think the Kallters are under a mind-control spell. Worship doesn't necessarily have to mean that they support her. It could also be worshipping out of fear. They serve the Ice Witch to not feel her wrath...
I’m gonna add on to this a bit! In the questline where we were helping Alex in Dino valley (we were gathering sticks I think?) and we were walking back with her, she noticed the Kalters we’re watching us. Maybe they were keeping an eye out for us and were going to report our location to Katja knowing she wanted it, sense they under her spell if your theory is correct.
They said once that Ashland is just a placeholder for something else, and that they just haven't reached that point in the story yet. I don't know what to make of it though, cause Ashland is still on the official map of southwestern Jorvik that we got in the Jorvik Calling book 🤔 plus, Garnok's Fury seems to have plot relevance and Ashland has been referenced in the story by Nic Stoneground 🤷♀️
THIS! Also look at the portal inside the ice jaws. It’s the same one they used to bring Katja to dark core. The story quests said she was banished to pandoria… but Mr Sands seemed very vague in the quest line (where we visit Justin for the 2nd time). Also if she was trapped in pandoria… wouldn’t she be half pink like Anne and Everygray? I think she was secretly trapped in the portal in icendell all this time until Mr Sands created the connecting portal to regenerate her strength and bring her to Dark Core. The portal is still open, so maybe she uses it to come back from time to time to be the ice witch.
The name Katja means pure. Maybe like pure white? Idk, just thought it was interesting. Also at the open house that tour guide mentioned that there was a big concert in Jorvik Stables Arena. She was probably talking about the one in Star Academy. And next week there is a collection with Mary. They said she was moving from the ranch. She is engaged to Lance, from Star Academy. Maybe they are moving back to there, or this collection will explain what happened to Lisa and the band from Star Academy. Or it could just be finding her stupid sheep, lol. I hope not!
SO IF KATJA ISNT A TEENAGER,AND JAMES WAS 13 IN THE STARSHINE LEGACY GAMES........AND KATJA TRIED TO MAKE JAMES FALL IN LOVE WITH HER..... thats messed up o.O
I don't really think that's what she did to him, but that was my interpretation from when I was young 😅😅 I think it was the way she said how he had a new favorite sister and that he went along with her that made me feel like that's what happened to him. looking back though, that's probably not what she did 🙈
May I remind you of something? When the kallters went back to their village we only went to them because of Avalon's dream, a vision of Jorvik covered with ice and snow or something like that It's been awhile since I had that quest but I still remember that detail It's something people seem to be forgetting I don't know what exactly this could mean and all but all of this definitely has a connection
(spoilers) ELEANOR, the new rainbow quests that came today, it makes this theory so much stronger and I really hope that you can maybe find more about this and yeahejrkeb i literraly gasped when I saw this line "Curses? Cold? Hello, does this make anyone else think of the Ice Witch of Icendell? Is this Katja cursed? Is SHE the Ice Witch??" By Mica and Nic says thiss "Legend has it that the Ice Witch was born in Medieval times, and over the years practised benevolent magic, until for mysterious reasons she slipped into rage and let the maws of dark witchcraft consume her. Or so the story goes." So can this so prove this theory atleast almost?
Well I think soon it may come true that she is Ice Witch cause if u did the week 2 rainbow festival Mica basically pointed out that what we got to know about Katja strongly resembles the Ice Witch. As far as we know Garnok along with his generals got/crashed on Jorvik in medieval times and IW( Ice witch) was said to live in this time. Also her absence can be explained by the fact that she was trapped in Pandoria , as we leran when we snuck in Dark Core Headquarters and they planned on bringing her back. Maybe we will get some quest in Icendell in future as Mica said that once she returns again they should explore Icendell.
What is the theory now that Katja has been 'released' in this Rainbow Festival this year? The ice witch portal in dino is still untoched ....could it be a back door to the Kalters area? If they can't figure out that the ice that blocks the road behind Nic leads into that area...or how to unlock the kalters door...could the portal be another enterance?
Your theory makes sense! I was sure about this after I read a bit of the Soul riders third book, and Katja had ice powers there, that she could shoot ''ice flames''. I'm Finnish, so I had to translate the Swedish one to Finnish, and only did that for the most interesting parts that I think I need to know before we get new story quests, and when the whole book is gonna be released in Finnish, I'll read that then. And also in the second book, there were many mentions that proofs that the dark riders are indeed something else than humans, like this: ''Jessica just wanted to come home where she came, be part of darkness'' :o and Mr. Sands told Sabine and Jessica that when Garnok is released, they will be able to return to their worlds.
Another interesting thing, not mentioned in the video, is that there’s a main story quest in star stable online where James is suffering from nightmares. When we unveil the nightmare it’s shown to be katja and the memories of James being in her spell is haunting him. A sign of her being back to jorvik? It’s very interesting because this quest first came to SSO in 2013!! Here’s the link to the news post: www.starstable.com/en/article/199
So im sure that Katjas the Ice Witch bc we now had the rainbow festival and Katja was playing her Violine, so everything started to freeze, than Nic Stoneground came again saying that Katja probly is the Ice Witch and things like that, so I'm reaaaally sure she is
Me and my friend were think- We have no proof of this but just thinking. If she is a dark rider, but also MIGHT be a witch, maybe there is another group. We have the dark riders, soul riders, and maybe this other group of witches... She could be saying she is a dark rider to spy on them undercover. We thought it sounded cool! Also in the picture of what she is going to look like she has these flames in her hands like powers...
OH MY GOD YOU WERE RIGHT. I THINK WE'RE GETTING A QUEST ABOUT IT SOON SINCE MIKA AND NIC SAID THAT WILL BE THEIR NEXT ADVENTURE ahhhhh i can't believe they actually confirmed it in today's quest!!!!!
As someone who've played since 2014 AND all starshine legacy games, i never thought it'd be katja but now that you describe it it's so clear. i love this theory a lot
In the new update for the cloud kingdom, mica and her uncle nic talk about her (Katja) and saying, "what if Katja is the ice witch!! " As soon as I did the quest and read it, I immediately thought of this theory.
Maybe she WAS the ice witch, but left on orders for one thing or another. Her return/seeing her again in the valley exactly the same would explain what spooked the Kalters into leaving and shutting the gates, if their memory of her isn't fond and they fear her. Also, it would explain why SSO has been working behind the scenes in Dino valley and why they said they'll be doing more work on it. And dealing with Katja might lead into a storyline to get behind the gate.
What i just realised was Sabine must be the Dark Rider of Flames/Fire. Khaan's hoof prints leave behind fire. Also Sabine was the first person to mention Garnok in the quests. What if Sabine lives in Ashland? I mean that would explain why there is a little cottage next to the volcano. Also im assuming the Ashland's Volcano might be Garnok's Fury? The Kallters door is extremely close to the path leading into Ashland! Sabine and Katja are best friends I believe so what if Sabine asked Garnoks Fury to hypnotise The Kallter's into worshipping her best friend, the Ice Witch!
Im on the third book, imma look for clues for u (im swedish so ya) Update: OKAY so i have a little bit left to read BUT it said in the book that she gives a chilly vibe. Thats the only thing i found so far but ya
ummm the new Cloud Kingdom quest mentions Katja being the ice queen and that Mica will be exploring Icendell 👀 I literally gasped bc I just watched this today and the new quest came out yesterday. You're too accurate it's scary lol
:) I just click on these so fast it's not okay, love them so much. They are so thought out and they are quite interesting! Please keep up the work! Theory: when watching your video which had my stable in it, the new quest says "welcome home, sou rider" It may be something to do with getting our own home, I don't know this is just me saying things. But who knows at this point, it could also be making us a would rider. I don't know to be honest.
Theory: in the pandoria quest when we were in dino valley, katja came and we had to escape i think, and she had ice powers, so she must be the ice witch!
This all makes so much sence her cloths are the right color and the picture of the update behind her is a crown that means that this means soooooo much sence and the mind cantroll I belive that is why the people would worship her because she did it to James great Theory Eleanor
What do you make of the Kallters fleeing through the Icengate then ? And what about the cry (either a monster or more probably a horse) we hear when they do so ? And as far as why Katja would be interested in them, I would add that they are the nearest people from Garnok's fury, so they might have some kind of knowledge about how to wake and use it. I would assume they also know many of the stories behind the Valley of the Hidden Dinosaur and the Ashlands and then probably about how Jorvik was created. Many people have been to the Ashlands and no matter how much work the SSO team has put into it, they've found a house there. Who lives there and why ? Another mystery I would love opinions on, is the huge fenced house in the center of the Mooncrescent village. I don't know if there's actual clues and evidence about that but I sure would love some ideas ! Another thing that tickles me : when you're up the cliffs of South Hoof, you can see a dark moving spot cruising along Mistfall. I think it might be a tiny boat. You can also see it from Firgrove but when you get to Mistfall, you can't anymore. So many unanswered questions... I do hope we'll get some answers someday soon to a few of them. If you could elaborate on those I sure would love ideas x) Good luck !!
I know that this video came out a while ago, and I have watched it many times, but I have something too add! When looking at Katja's symbol on her concept art picture, you can see that its a skull, of course. However, the lines run deeper, almost looking like a cave entrance (if you take out the eyes.) So adding on to this theory, Katja's symbol also represents the cave (with of course the cave having icicles across the top and bottom, making a connection here) Also, if you think about it, icicles don't form upwards. They form downwards due to the water freezing as its dripping. So perhaps this is also part of it? I hope this makes sense lol.
in the newest quest in the rainbow festival update mica and nic stoneground said that katja could be the ice witch and that we might explore icendell soon
If we go by the information told by Bonnie during the Christmas celebrations things become more complicated. We know that she was forced into Icendell by her people who turned against her because they believed she was behind missing livestock. Then Bonnie questions whether the cries people say come from the witch are for help or new prey.. This last addition to the story is the most striking as it introduces the idea that the Ice Witch may not be as evil as we thought. Furthermore, the options for the moral are mostly positive towards the witch such as "don't judge a book by its cover" or "witches are misunderstood". If Katja is the ice witch this could have interesting implications for her character and this theory. Katja and the other dark riders may not have been born from the darkness as we all originally thought, rather they may be people who possessed magical abilities, perhaps even some kind of elemental spirits, who were corrupted by Garnok. As we know, the Valley of the Hidden Dinosaur is extremely close to Garnok's Fury. It is entirely possible that the cave Katja was locked in is connected to Garnok's Fury, perhaps giving Garnok's powers access to her. As she was likely angry from her wrongful imprisonment this would have left her open to corruption. This leaves interesting implications for the other dark riders as they too may have once been neutral or even good people/spirits. It also leaves the question of whether this corruption can be reversed. Looking at Katja's character sheet, we see a sketch of her looking sad and vulnerable. Of course, it could just be a sketch of her being manipulative, but when you take this theory into consideration it leaves the door open for a scene where perhaps Katja becomes good or shows her history of trauma. It could even hint at a future redemption. One last thing to add to prove that Katja is the ice witch: The music that plays around the cave sounds a bit like a violin or at the very least, the tune has a very violin-esque quality. And what is Katja's new character design pictured with? A violin. Edit: Just thought of one last thing: Bonnie mentions that Jorvik has not frozen over since the witch was locked away. Now in the recent Christmas event rivers and lakes are freezing and the team has brought snow to SSO for the first time in years.... just one Christmas after revealing Katja's design... just as they perhaps are preparing to continue our character's story....
The team also said that we would "get to know the dark riders more intimately", indicating that there will be deep backstories. Mr. Sands have already gotten a backstory in the books, which makes us understand him more. The dark riders probably have a reason for their choices too, and their backstories will reveal what kind of people they used to be before they decided to follow Garnok.
You know, it also says on Jorvikipedia that Katja has ice powers. I know that isn't the most reliable source, but the info is in the 3rd Soul Riders book. So...I don't think this theory is that far off. But we do now have some spoilers of a Yeti roaming around Dino. (From Mica in the haunted trail ride) So who knows?
6:42 If i had to guess- Katja is a person's who seeks validation and admiration from others no matter the morality of it. I guess after her failure with James she went for a isolated society that she could control without consequence
The portal in icendale is the same portal to the one at dark core and one time when I went there Katja came out of it so maybe she lives in icendale , I don’t Know if this is important but has anyone else realised that the front of “Katja’s cave” it looks like there are teeth guarding it
The part included about the book just entails that people in dark core (obviously have magical powers, but) also have some immortality behind them. ANYWAY Also, because katja is under dark core, she may have been ‘trained’ by pi the witch. So it is completely possible.
My main issue in this concept is the shoes... And the fact she looks childish. She reminds me more somebody related to ghosts, spirits and underworld than an icy witch in that concept.
Yeah, I've been thinking about her outfit a lot as well, cause the Kallters' outfits are so much thicker and warmer and made for cold winter days. But I'm thinking that if she's immune to cold, whivh she seems to be, she doesn't need to layer up like the Kallters - but obviously the Kallters do cause they'd freeze to death if not 🤷♀️ as for her looking childish, idk if that changes anything because she's immortal
In the second book that star stable produced, When the star riders run away from the dark riders in goldenhills Valley they come to the broken bridge and have to teleport over it While the Dark riders Can’t. The dark riders fall down from the bridge (witch is many, many meters up in the air, A human would have died to that fall) But later in the book they are completely fine. This means that they aren’t human, as you said. (Sorry if the grammar is quite bad, English isn’t my first language)
Well, it could lead to dark core's oil platform as it looks a lot like it, and in that case she would use it to travrl between dino valley and the platform. I'm also thinking that, since she's not human, it could be a portal to wherever she's from
It makes sense. Also (spoiler alert) in the second book, the dark riders ride out of a cliff and in the third you get to know that they survived, this is also a proof to that they are immortal....
My theory:Someone stuffed Katja into the snow in dino valley but before they buried her, they murdererd her then buried her. Then one year later she woke up feeling cold and she felt like she was not alive anymore.....her eyes turned white she was misruble and wanted revange so she decided to join dark core. Thats not it,she gained her power by being stuffed into ice cold snow and ubserbed the power of ice. She then decided to make a little ice cove and ice particals in it,and if someone dared to go in.....they would suffer just like she did. Just a theory :)
Amazing theory! Could you do a theory about where our character will live in the future? There is an adress on the post card with the free vet service reminder. :)
That does make lots of sense! I was just wondering... That fire-ish cave there.. maybe it has nothing to do with Kajta, maybe that’s something about Sabine? I don’t know.. just making some things up, heh. Thanks for explaining, it really does work as an accurate theory!
Maybe katja was a Kalter that was mind controlled by dark magic which gave her the ability to mind control. After she was officially a dark rider, she bewitched the kalters’s horses to give them magic powers, like the other dark horses in an attempt to make the kalter’s horses dark horses.🤷♀️ Maybe garnok created the toxic waste by the shire farm using his powers to create the super shire? 🤷♀️
This totally makes sense! Also this made me remember a theory I have: all quest are in the end connected to the main quests! We’ve already seen the “Madison-quests” being connected to the main quests. And we’ve met the soul riders (and other druids) in side quests. So what do you think? Does THIS make any sense? 🤗
Hmm, I think that the whole world of Jorvik will at some point be exposed to the main story.. for the final showdown for example, everyone probably have realized that the myths are true and maybe wanna escape the island before Garnok attacks or something 🤔🤔
Upon examining her outfit as well, there is such a thing called black ice, it causes a lot of car accidents in the winter and cause many deaths as well.. so the fact her outfit slowly goes from white to grey to some black makes sense in the terms of the Ice witch. (however being a wiccan myself, I really hate how witches are portrayed as evil when not all of them are. also Pi is sort of offensive to look at in terms of witches.)
kinda unrelated but i really wish they kept katjas old design....the more they redesign these characters the more i feel like theyre changing them completely :/ katjas old appearance had a mature allure to it, and made her seem more like a strong female character w lots of personality. her new design though, makes her really look like a kid witch, which makes sense if she is the ice witch but i really wish they made her outfit fit her body more and be more glamorous, befitting of a queen who has been alive for centuries and that is already an adult
Maybe why her eyes turned white was because she was really nice when she was younger and her eyes were blue but then her heart got colder and she became evil and that’s why her eyes stared turning white idk I just thought of this maybe that could be a reason?
WHAT IF nic stonegrounds freezer gets lost during him exploring jorvik, the last place where you think the freezer door should be. the last point of the star. This can become a quest once the area has been unlocked but can take many years.
i think that the dark riders are kinda soul from pandoria and when they travel to jorvik they take human form to blend in. So the theory that they are ageless is possible. SPOILER! BOOK 2. In book two anne is traveling to pandoria and are affected from it (dizzy, struggel to move, forgetting) but Jessica that travels to stop her isnt affected at all. So my theory is that they are some sort of creature from Pandoria taking human form in our world.
I've also thought about the possibility of them being from pandoria, but I haven't really looked too far into it. But I'm guessing that Jessica not being affected could be explained with her being more expirienced, I mean Anne just found out she could do magic, so she isn't used to then yet. Plus, she doesn't have Concorde, so she's weaker.
Katja is my favorite dark rider actually. But what changed her mind of becoming a weird witch in icendell?? Those dark riders are freaking me out. I swear..... Every time they come with something new! New evil plans.... How idiotic!
I've long wondered what is up with the dark riders... like, what causes them to become dark riders? Cause it seems like at least some of them have human lives too - like Sabine in SSL talking about how much her father had done for the school 🤔 the legend of the ice witch says that the ice witch was not always evil, so I like to think that her going from being a queen, to becoming a witch, is actually just Katja becoming a dark rider
O.O ur riigghhhttt. Since Katja "isn't human" she wouldn't be bothered by the cold.
🎶The cold never bothered her anyway ❄

I have read the third book in Soul Riders and (now there will be spoilers) Sabine did not want to agree with Katja and the other girl who I think is named Jessica. It sounds quite logical that Sabine is the fire witch and Katja the ice witch: they are quite different in that case. But I do not really remember everything, but I got more of a feeling that Sabine did not like Dark Core than that she did not like Katja and Jessica. Katja seems to be some kind of a goddess to Kallters. Many tribes have their own godly creatures they worship. I think Katja is a kallter herself. I mean the concept art is kind of "winter-y" and tribal. So it would make sense. I think they added the grey to her white shade to show that she has been "consumed by evil and darkness" and now is a dark spirit.
Ooh, that's deep 🤔
Sometimes I wonder if start stable will ever reveal the full story :"D
There's so much that they need to explain.
They will. I will be probably dead in oldness (I'm 15 now) but I think they will!
Sands, Jessica and Katja."
So they definitely aren't just some random teenagers.
Thank you for pointing that out!
that's what I was thinking the whole time!! so many people forget about that and I think it's such an important fact to know.
When Lisa,Linda and Alex are spying on Sabine in the school parking lot the book describes her like this: "suddenly,Sabine looked up,straight at the bushes where they were hiding.she sniffed the air like a predator." And "she quickly slinked towards the bushes.Sabine made Lisa remember a very strong tiger she had seen in the zoo when she was little.Sabine was tall and powerful and prowled along the bushes just like an animal stalking its prey."
When Anne sees Jessica sitting next to Corcorde in his stall she was described as this:"Jessica was sitting next to him, her long legs crossed and entwined in a way that shouldn't be possible for a human being.
I think you are actually on to something! Can't be a conicidence that they are all described as animals.
@@bbitty_3480 You could be right too, the descriptions can also be meant more symbolic instead.
I dont think the Kallters are under a mind-control spell. Worship doesn't necessarily have to mean that they support her. It could also be worshipping out of fear. They serve the Ice Witch to not feel her wrath...
Oooh imagine they turn Katja horse into fjord when they update them
Omg i read "they will turn Katja into a fjord".... XDDDDD

I’m gonna add on to this a bit!
In the questline where we were helping Alex in Dino valley (we were gathering sticks I think?) and we were walking back with her, she noticed the Kalters we’re watching us. Maybe they were keeping an eye out for us and were going to report our location to Katja knowing she wanted it, sense they under her spell if your theory is correct.
i think it was ice plants
icenthistles
Everyone: ice witch and fire witch
Me: begging for ashland to get released
seriously sso pls release ashland soon i cant wait
They said once that Ashland is just a placeholder for something else, and that they just haven't reached that point in the story yet. I don't know what to make of it though, cause Ashland is still on the official map of southwestern Jorvik that we got in the Jorvik Calling book 🤔 plus, Garnok's Fury seems to have plot relevance and Ashland has been referenced in the story by Nic Stoneground 🤷♀️
I-
Sometimes your theories are so detailed I'm like, what? that makes no sense to me 👀 but I think this is so true! Just the vibe you get from her!
I hope not!
My first thought when hearing about her collection was "so we're gonna collect animals now?" 😂
But jokes aside, you could be onto something!
SO IF KATJA ISNT A TEENAGER,AND JAMES WAS 13 IN THE STARSHINE LEGACY GAMES........AND KATJA TRIED TO MAKE JAMES FALL IN LOVE WITH HER.....
thats messed up o.O
Yeah avalon she needs to be locked up
I don't really think that's what she did to him, but that was my interpretation from when I was young 😅😅 I think it was the way she said how he had a new favorite sister and that he went along with her that made me feel like that's what happened to him. looking back though, that's probably not what she did 🙈

When the kallters went back to their village we only went to them because of Avalon's dream, a vision of Jorvik covered with ice and snow or something like that
It's been awhile since I had that quest but I still remember that detail
It's something people seem to be forgetting
I don't know what exactly this could mean and all but all of this definitely has a connection

ELEANOR,
the new rainbow quests that
came today, it makes this theory so much stronger and I really hope that you can maybe find more about this and yeahejrkeb i literraly gasped when I saw this line "Curses? Cold? Hello, does this make anyone else think of the Ice Witch of Icendell? Is this Katja cursed? Is SHE the Ice Witch??" By Mica and Nic says thiss
"Legend has it that the Ice Witch was born in Medieval times, and over the years practised benevolent magic, until for mysterious reasons she slipped into rage and let the maws of dark witchcraft consume her. Or so the story goes."
So can this so prove this theory atleast almost?
wait i totallyyyy missed this are you kidding me i love this sm
I still think she’s Elsa, icendele sounds like arendele
Well that's one parallel I didn't think of!
Kwynn Jensen Sabine is- You know when you’re running from her and she becomes Elsa No.2
I doubt, you also have to think of copyright and how Elsa would never fit with it. Yeah she does have a horse, but I really doubt it.
Weird thing is, Katja is only dark rider in white. But she have heart of ice, thats right. She isnt human so she isnt botherd by cold
“SEE”! This is why I tell you that your Theories are Important! To all of us. Truly. We want to hear what you have to say about SSL and SSO : )!
Maybe we will get some quest in Icendell in future as Mica said that once she returns again they should explore Icendell.
cozying up to a new eleanor video is THE BEST feeling
SHE DOES??? my god, that's exactly what I suspected from her concept art!
@@eleanornightwalker There also is a story quest in Dino Valley where you have to run from her ice obstacles if I remember that right.

I read the news article, and it makes me feel so nostalgic to all the content that used to come out back then
So im sure that Katjas the Ice Witch bc we now had the rainbow festival and Katja was playing her Violine, so everything started to freeze, than Nic Stoneground came again saying that Katja probly is the Ice Witch and things like that, so I'm reaaaally sure she is
I saw this coming since the Theories you scrapped, I knew she was the ice queen!

OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE WE HAVE PROOF OF THIS THEORY BEING TRUE
Me and my friend were think- We have no proof of this but just thinking.
If she is a dark rider, but also MIGHT be a witch, maybe there is another group. We have the dark riders, soul riders, and maybe this other group of witches...
She could be saying she is a dark rider to spy on them undercover. We thought it sounded cool!
Also in the picture of what she is going to look like she has these flames in her hands like powers...
Who isn’t playing sso at the moments cuz the updates are boring but still watch theory vids because they more exciting then the game itself😂😂
OH MY GOD YOU WERE RIGHT. I THINK WE'RE GETTING A QUEST ABOUT IT SOON SINCE MIKA AND NIC SAID THAT WILL BE THEIR NEXT ADVENTURE
ahhhhh i can't believe they actually confirmed it in today's quest!!!!!
As someone who've played since 2014 AND all starshine legacy games, i never thought it'd be katja but now that you describe it it's so clear. i love this theory a lot
I think your right. I'm not one for theories But this makes sense to me. I Really want sso to continue the Dino valley quest!
In the new update for the cloud kingdom, mica and her uncle nic talk about her (Katja) and saying, "what if Katja is the ice witch!! " As soon as I did the quest and read it, I immediately thought of this theory.
It's now mentioned in the game that Nic and The balloon girl think its her too :)
There's so many unexplained stuff in Star Stable I need explanations >< and there's too much closed area!
OMG I love these theory videos :D
Im on the third book, imma look for clues for u (im swedish so ya)
Update: OKAY so i have a little bit left to read BUT it said in the book that she gives a chilly vibe. Thats the only thing i found so far but ya
ummm the new Cloud Kingdom quest mentions Katja being the ice queen and that Mica will be exploring Icendell 👀
I literally gasped bc I just watched this today and the new quest came out yesterday. You're too accurate it's scary lol
new event quests leaks confirms this theory as hell
This is so amazing and exciting!!! I want the Kallters back now and Katja to make the entrance as the Ice Witch 🤩😩

Theory:
when watching your video which had my stable in it, the new quest says "welcome home, sou rider" It may be something to do with getting our own home, I don't know this is just me saying things. But who knows at this point, it could also be making us a would rider. I don't know to be honest.

Next video: So guys... about that Katja ice witch theory...
😂😂😂
Whops to early to read comments xD
in the newest quest in the rainbow festival update mica and nic stoneground said that katja could be the ice witch and that we might explore icendell soon
I hope that soon does not mean 3 years or something lol

If i had to guess- Katja is a person's who seeks validation and admiration from others no matter the morality of it. I guess after her failure with James she went for a isolated society that she could control without consequence
I love your video it always helps me to figure it out!
sso is up to something, and I can't wait❤
The portal in icendale is the same portal to the one at dark core and one time when I went there Katja came out of it so maybe she lives in icendale , I don’t Know if this is important but has anyone else realised that the front of “Katja’s cave” it looks like there are teeth guarding it
I just played the rainbow festival quests and your theory isn't a theory anymore, it's a fact now
The part included about the book just entails that people in dark core (obviously have magical powers, but) also have some immortality behind them.
ANYWAY
Also, because katja is under dark core, she may have been ‘trained’ by pi the witch.
Shes from Pandoria
@@eleanornightwalker Oh, I didn't meaned about the cold, but more because I find her sandals horrible. I imagined her more elegant and mature.
Mabey without her snow start melting, this is why her heart is made from ice and now she is with dark core.
This made so much sense 10/10
In the second book that star stable produced,
When the star riders run away from the dark riders in goldenhills Valley they come to the broken bridge and have to teleport over it While the Dark riders Can’t. The dark riders fall down from the bridge
(witch is many, many meters up in the air, A human would have died to that fall)
But later in the book they are completely fine.
This means that they aren’t human, as you said.
(Sorry if the grammar is quite bad, English isn’t my first language)
This makes so much sense!!! The only thing I wonder is why she would have a cave with a portal and stuff, like why would she need it? 🤔
Well of course they survived, they're in SSO 😅😅
@@eleanornightwalker oh, did not think about that...
ok her new concept art is pretty amazing though
My theory:Someone stuffed Katja into the snow in dino valley but before they buried her, they murdererd her then buried her. Then one year later she woke up feeling cold and she felt like she was not alive anymore.....her eyes turned white she was misruble and wanted revange so she decided to join dark core. Thats not it,she gained her power by being stuffed into ice cold snow and ubserbed the power of ice. She then decided to make a little ice cove and ice particals in it,and if someone dared to go in.....they would suffer just like she did. Just a theory :)
But like what could the violin be for? Maybe when she plays it she enchants the Kalters and controls them.
I don't know about that part.. the original Katja didn't have one, so this is most likely something we haven't seen yet.
It might not be relevant but we can hear violin or a similliar instrument in Dino Valley soundtrack, right? So this makes some sense
Or maybe they worship her because they don't think she's evil? It doesn't have to be mind control.
Could be 🤷♀️
Amazing theory! Could you do a theory about where our character will live in the future? There is an adress on the post card with the free vet service reminder. :)
I've seen that! But I believe that person has it right if there's gonna be a player home, so I don't have anything else to add to it :P
That does make lots of sense! I was just wondering... That fire-ish cave there.. maybe it has nothing to do with Kajta, maybe that’s something about Sabine? I don’t know.. just making some things up, heh. Thanks for explaining, it really does work as an accurate theory!
What fire-ish cave?
Eleanor Nightwalker I’m sorry, the one you were standing behind in the video. It’s not the best theory, just saying, hah 😊
5:10 that quest is in star stable too! i remember i did it like two months ago
yeah it was in the sso i already do it while ago
Yes! I knew I remembered it in game.
I got the book today even though my bday was the 12th it’s a hardback too I also got some money for when the second one comes out in English:D
Maybe katja was a Kalter that was mind controlled by dark magic which gave her the ability to mind control. After she was officially a dark rider, she bewitched the kalters’s horses to give them magic powers, like the other dark horses in an attempt to make the kalter’s horses dark horses.🤷♀️
Maybe garnok created the toxic waste by the shire farm using his powers to create the super shire? 🤷♀️
Eleanor: They worship a ice queen.
Me: eLsA?!
Ok lol jokes aside, this is really cool!!! This is a good theory
This makes the most sense ever like she is the ice witch
i was so confused in the beginning, cuz i thougth she was from pandoria or something
but now it all makes sense :D
This totally makes sense! Also this made me remember a theory I have: all quest are in the end connected to the main quests! We’ve already seen the “Madison-quests” being connected to the main quests. And we’ve met the soul riders (and other druids) in side quests. So what do you think? Does THIS make any sense? 🤗
Hmm, I think that the whole world of Jorvik will at some point be exposed to the main story.. for the final showdown for example, everyone probably have realized that the myths are true and maybe wanna escape the island before Garnok attacks or something 🤔🤔
i think you are are probably right
Upon examining her outfit as well, there is such a thing called black ice, it causes a lot of car accidents in the winter and cause many deaths as well.. so the fact her outfit slowly goes from white to grey to some black makes sense in the terms of the Ice witch. (however being a wiccan myself, I really hate how witches are portrayed as evil when not all of them are. also Pi is sort of offensive to look at in terms of witches.)
What if each of the dark riders represents the darker side of elements
I JUST FIGURED IT OUT! You know how Avalon has a vision of Thunder and Ice?? ITS KATJA ANS ALEX FIGHTING!! Oooooooohhhh
kinda unrelated but i really wish they kept katjas old design....the more they redesign these characters the more i feel like theyre changing them completely :/ katjas old appearance had a mature allure to it, and made her seem more like a strong female character w lots of personality. her new design though, makes her really look like a kid witch, which makes sense if she is the ice witch but i really wish they made her outfit fit her body more and be more glamorous, befitting of a queen who has been alive for centuries and that is already an adult
Well we don't reallu know a lot about her personality yet. I thought she looked weird in the beginning, but it has grown on me and now I like it :P
I really like her new appearance and outfit!
I would love to work on this theory with you, ive followed your theories and went even deeper, they are usually true.
I think katjas ancient name must of been the ice witch so the kalters believe that it is still that and she would have looked different as well
Me: I gotta put my phone down
Also me: just one more video
Maybe why her eyes turned white was because she was really nice when she was younger and her eyes were blue but then her heart got colder and she became evil and that’s why her eyes stared turning white idk I just thought of this maybe that could be a reason?
hun!
your accent is amazing!!
Oh my your so right she’s THE ICE WITCH
Cause it seems like at least some of them have human lives too - like Sabine in SSL talking about how much her father had done for the school 🤔 the legend of the ice witch says that the ice witch was not always evil, so I like to think that her going from being a queen, to becoming a witch, is actually just Katja becoming a dark rider
wow this makes so much sense
The new katja with white eyes looks like she's blind
