I have been searching high and low to find out if it is normal for my Crane 3S to sound like this, since my Crane 2 was virtually silent and very few reviews make any reference to the sound. I still don't know if it is "normal" or expected, but it does seem that at least some of these make these similar noises.
I use an Android phone and the motion that I get is quite smooth. That said, the app is pretty much crap as far as motion control goes and I never use it. If Zhiyun could make an independent dongle or such that could be easily hand held, placed in a pocket or wherever and not require you to hold a phone in a specific manner, things might work better. The TransMount transmitter isn't the greatest, but it works for me when I want to make a vlog and get focus right before starting filming. I also do get a faint humming from one of the motors, but it's never affected the operation of the gimbal.
I have the same issue!! I have asked to Zhiyun, yet not response!!!! I use a Zy Play version 2.9.1 and iOS 17.1.2(iphone 13 pro) and Weebill S! And you what you use it?
Hey! I got the same Gimbal but with the older Transmitting System. Mine sounds the same and the DJI Ronin M I used had a similar sound to it (if not in silent mode) so I guess thats normal.
The truth is that transmitter along with that app are shit, I have the same one, and it gave me so many problems that now I only use it with the Timelapse-motion option, the rest is useless. an advice, to see a better image usea a 5G smarthpone.

Try setting up "Tracking" in the gimbal menu, and choosing the lens focal length to match the lens you are using.

How do you get the tracking face option ? Thats nowhere to be found on mine . noone talks about it
