When I first watched this I thought these were way outside of my experience level. Learned the first one after practicing all day, then the second day 2 and have both pretty well up to speed. Going to try tackling the 3rd today. Cameron sir you have the best video tutorials on RUclips. I appreciate the challenge, I feel like it’s for sure helping me break out of the box iv been stuck in for a while. Keep em coming 🙏
Well, I must be getting better. It only took me 3 days to learn the first riff. :) Very cool, several mini-riffs to make a long one. What's also great is that it even sounds good slow.
Thankyou Cameron, so glad I came across you. Great lesson.... to slow things down but make the riffs sound very advanced is what probably slower plays need ! Also good taste in guitars in Charvel, but for me its the Ash body and direct mount humbuckers. My Jackson pro series dinky dk2 ash baked white sounds fantastic !!! Will be buying a Charvel with Ash body soon as !! Garreth
I wish you'd do, and maybe you have, a video on how to get the perfect tone like that. I know myself, it's very frustrating trying to learn these licks when my tone coming out of my amp (no, not a Live 6) is a muddy mess and nowhere near as clean and conducive to any kind of shredding. I know everyone has different gear but maybe some general pointers would be cool. Awesome playing!
I don't tend to do videos like that because everyone's perception of a 'perfect tone' is different and everyone's got different gear. My best recommendation would be to experiment
@@CameronCooper I was kind of referring to your tone as a starting vector. I am sure a lot of people would like to get your sound, so to see what you use and how you go about getting that sound would be helpful. All good though, thanks!
I wonder if anybody has this guitar as well. Mine had custom Seymour Duncan SH-4 with hex poles, it does not sound like normal JB4 (and that is good in my opinion, as hex poles have more aggressive sound, which I like). I wonder if it is just me. It should be coming with Full Shred. It sounds super nasty, though I ended up with SH-13 Dimebucker which is even more aggressive (lacks bass a bit though)
Cameron, You are an amazing player. Thank you for posting stuff like this. Been playing for 40 years and find much inspiration when I watch you! 🤘🤘🤘
On top of this, he is an excellent teacher. I always take away something from watching his lessons. Can't say that about anyone else on YT
Great licks but I couldn't figure out how to play the last bit of the first one
KICK ASS ALWAYZ!!!!MR.COOPER YOU'RE AWESOMENESS IS VERY CONTAGIOUS!!!!

Cam just curious, are/were you a fan of Randy Rhoads during his Quiet Riot days?
A fan of Randy Rhoads but Quiet Riot not so much aha
Thanks for these, nice tone, not a fan of sandblaster finishes but this Charvel sounds great
The licks are awesome in itself, but that TONNNNNNE MY GOD.

Love your videos, so many ear worms in these licks
That first one is pretty
bada$$. Nice content as always. 👍🎸
man, I always know I'll find taste in your licks!
Thanks
good god that guitar bro. and sick playing yo
I love these videos! Random question...but what kind of pickups do you have in that Charvel there? Is that the Nazgul/Sentient set?
Full shred and Alnico 2 Pro
Hey mate.. I love your toutube channel. You are one of the best out there. Where can we access the tabs of your guitar licks?
I don't have any tabs for my licks I'm afraid. That's why I do the detailed breakdowns in my videos
Hey Cameron, you're awesome!
These sound great. Do you still run the Blackstar into your THR for the effects? Thank you
Yes
Awesome color guitar, did they torch it or stain. Thank you for the lesson😊💪 Is that the Thr30II?
It's the Blackstar AMPED 3. Once the guitar has been painted flat black, they use Squeegees to paint in the grain lines.
Freakin great!!!! Thanks as always, man!
Outstanding Coop.
Are you micing the blackstar or going direct? how are you connecting it, if direct. thanks!
I'm going direct using the XLR out. I'm plugged into a THR30II amp on the Flat Setting. The THR is also my interface
@@CameronCooper Thanks Cameron!
