As a massage therapy student, watching your videos help me so much. I love how in detail they are and how far in-depth you go to explain what you're doing and how it works. I hope I'll be able to be as good of a massage therapist as you are one day. :)

Great tips and techniques. You really explain things well and go into a lot of detail explaining all aspects of what you’re doing and why and that is SO helpful. Most of my clients are desk jockeys and need a lot of pec work so I’m glad to try a few new techniques - sometimes routines get stale. Thanks so much and hope you and yours are staying safe and healthy.

Brilliant! As a student the pec area can seem so mysterious. You really demystified a lot for me here and I'm excited to try some of these techniques!

Hello and thank you so much for this video. I am excited to try some of these techniques on my returning client this afternoon. It seems extremely taboo to many in this community to offer any opportunities for growth, but I am going to do so, hopefully graciously. As a non-binary LMT who works with many trans and gender non-conforming folks, I'm just here to shed light on the fact that folks come in all sorts of bodies, & those bodies don't necessarily correlate to their gender or sex. People with breast tissue can include ciswomen, transwomen, transmen, nonbinary people, and more! Some of those folks may feel more comfortable with the term "chest tissue." LMT's can get touchy on this subject, or declare that it is too difficult to change how they talk about it. This always surprises me, as we do this constantly for our clients already. I don't tell clients "rotate your humeral head externally and then abduct...." We translate so that the info can reach the client. With patience and compassion for ourselves and others, we can definitely make these changes. As you say at the end of your video, "Awareness is the first step toward change." Thanks & happy massaging.

I have a pretty tight knot (fairly sharp pain if I touch it) on the left pec which I'm pretty sure is the result of me laying on my side with my left arm in a kind of triangle shape supporting the weight of my head. I do this a lot when I am on my laptop which I do for large parts of the day.
My question is if this is something that you see quite commonly, perhaps amongst younger people who use laptops or maybe tablets or even their phones and sit in that position.
