Looks cool. Thanks for the details. $200 for such a detailed figure is something. I was rewatching the original animated classic Voltron series for the past 2 weeks. Awesome show and none of the spin off or reboot series could match it since in my view. Thanks!
$200 is a great price for this scale. I don't own any other Voltron, just Transformers but I've been waiting for a good one and I pre-ordered. Blitzway looked great in the reviews I just hope the QC is up to snuff
This KO MC Voltron is the best KO so far figure quality and paint is good nothing to complain about the quality and paint are good and hes price point 😁
It means nothing, a KO is a KO, people will buy it regardless cause as much as I wanna push for original toys only, a lot of them are just getting ridiculous now price wise. KOs with how they are produced now is just the same as the original. The only reason the original is expensive is cause the companies wants the maximum profit. The materials and labour for the KOs are just the same nowadays and is sold at like realistic profits and msrp.
Got the Ko, Ratchets in Cats modes are crappy and legs fall of. Only stand and Pilots missing, no Chrome, accesorries dont fit good. Recommended in Combined mode.
I keep almost ordering the KO, but the unpainted plastic looks so crappy compared to the official version. Not saying the KO isn't good, but I think I'll wait to see if they release another version with CHROME, and (hopefully) painted lions. Like they released more than one version of their KO Tarn.
The temptation has been strong with this one. I really have been pleased with the playmates version, but it's more of an actual play toy than a collector display shelf item. The $600 price tag was really the big hurdle. for that amount it should be even bigger hehe. This may actually reel me in, that is a much more reasonable rate. If the quality is there I may bite.
Basically notthing, KO and high quality ko always are in TF universe, MB have an expertise to KO flame toys tf, so basically 5pro voltron was something that they could to and that have an high demand from chinese market. Keep in mind that usually this ko are for chinese market, and we are lucky that some chinese reseller could offer to us western collector. In term of sales, usually ko is for "high informed" collector, usually standard collector have difficulties to go out "his yard" of legit items basically cause he don't know about their existence. And basically this ko is for who already have the original (so no prob in sale for 5pro) or who cannot afford the 5 pro (so no copy sell by 5pro) in this case the existence of this ko will not affect the sell of oriignal one , or at least, maybe just for who want to buy a double copy. Btw for MC the instand buy will be if they relase soon a version with chrome paint and a black edition. Just to add quick note after talking with some chinese and hk friend, both their statement is "don't know why you western love so much the lion robot" so by this point of view, that why voltron got so much ko respect other japan 70-80" bots, cause koers know there is also a huge market in wester country and not only in mainland.
Good the $hits getting crazy. Honestly 200$ is a bit much for a Voltron to me, but it's right at the limit. Probably get it to support KO. Just like KO Astrotrain. I got Cyclonus KO cause I like Cyclonus, but A-train just to spite FT lol.
Blitz Way, Voltron is the best way to go because there’s always something wrong going on with cheap, knock offs. I just don’t do knock off I found this out with mine combiner war aerial bots. I had cheap knock offs first then they broke within a couple of days, so I had to re-orderor the originals they lasted me for years go with the original blitz way. It’s more money but trust me it’s definitely worth it. Everything is more solid best quality and quantity.
I all ready have 2 of the blitzway voltron. Now a k.o. and a reissue I may grab a third. Maybe, I am looking forward to the action toys version. We'll done mike, we'll done
Interesting, though I never got into MP Voltron. It's the same thing over and over again. Maybe if someone started doing RoBeasts I'd be in on the KO. Sidenote for any Dinoriders fans. Get in on the Cyberzoic Kickstarter. They look incredible!
@@jondoe4624 Cool yeah the Cyberzoic figures look great. I'm hoping they hit their goal. I went for the sabertooth tiger set might grab the raptor if it unlocks.
I wouldn't mind seeing an updated version of the late 90s cgi (I know the series wasn't that good) voltron. Plus I'd really like to see someone do the dragon combiner from that show too.
Not bad for $200 but are the legs on the individual lions metal or plastic? If they're metal, I wouldn't expect anything close to the look and quality of the official, compromises have to be made somewhere if this is going to be priced that low. The real winners were those who picked up the official when it was briefly discounted down to $500 from one of the e-tailers, it may have been Entertainment Earth.
I got the KO. I like it more than GX-71 despite this one being one of the best SOC of all time Its big and once combined it feels grat to handle. Something to consider: This is a KO QC may vary so pick it up at your own risk.
@@tydiriumhanger1320 I really the admire the SOC Dairugger. Compared to the modern figures, he seems stiff and limited in his posture. I would have picked him up if not for the wheels on his feet that continues to roll when transformed - that was the extra icing. Who knows may pick him up one day. I’m really hoping for ThreeZero to release him at minimum or someone out of ordinary like Zeta!
Would only get the reissue if Blitzway fixed some problems with their Lions Yellow Lion's ear's don't open up to show the missiles & Blue Lions head doesn't lift up to reveal the missile launcher For $700, these little things shouldn't have been omitted 😭
Nah...see...that Fantasy Jewel one did something that seriously irked me: they screwed up the Green head. It's a repaint of Red, hexagonal jaw and all. Crazy thing is that there's a few third-party ones who do that, too.
Never say never to new Voltron 😂, one note you can use the base for bot mode also!!! Have all the lions roaring like when combines!! Another note is that @@@ blitzway they added the effect of the sword to Japan version only , contacted them and replied will be only included there... that's a bummer for 700 figure... feel a bit cheated that at the very least will not make it available to buy. seems like in us version sword was called like thors hammer and not constructed by light
What this and so many other KOs show the Consumer, is just HOW MUCH MARK UP there is. Yeah, there is something to be said about the Quality, however, many KO companies have stepped up their game, and in some cases will make upgrades and or improvements. I used to be against KOs, but with ever increasing PRICE GOUGING going on, along with a drop in Quality, and not reissuing older designs that have not been out for one or more years, KOs imo are definitely the way to go. Doesn't mean you should skip the research and just hit click to buy though. Some KOs are just down right awful. Caveat Emptor.
12:42 a number of figures don't look the best when put in a generic, _off the assembly line_ *A-stance.* I liked/preferred the classic rendition they did too, but there were a few positives I liked from that netflix volton. [1] they came with mini pilots and the 'vehicle' that would take them to the lions, and they seemed close enough to 1/100 scale to me, which meant the macross/robotech jets & C.H.U.G. seekers were a decent scale to one another (I think the brief voltron/robotech crossover comics was also around this time & I think Roy had brief background cameos in the show)... and [2] they also did a black/stealth variant that I was able to get from gamestop during a discount to $20bucks sale.
Vehicle Voltron NOT selling as Much is Irrelevant... Its like Saying lets not make Ewoks toys for Star Wars because they dont sell as much as Luke Sky Walker. I am NOT ok not getting the Pilots... Ever since I was a kid I always wanted PROPER looking/scale Pilots and not those pathetic Childish ones from Panosh Place or whatever. When one of the best figure is so expensive, expect another company to make a Knock-Off out of it
True that is putting a target on their figure
The original 1980's Voltron figure is and will always be the best of all !
