I might use this awesome ambiance for my Mothership rpg one-shot. My players will go to a frozen alien planet. From where a distress signal was sent not so long ago. Maybe to seek for help, or maybe (just maybe) to keep others away. Who knows :)

Town/city sounds with more of a back ground sound effects. No up close sounds. Kinda like if you were inside and the sounds were coming from outside. Day time and night time. Summer time. Kids playing. Cars driving past. Distant and very rare dog barking. Lawn mower. Birds chirping. Night could be crickets and frogs. But again, distant sounds.

When I was younger I used to play a game called Tribes 2 that had a lot of pleasant ambient sounds, both mechanical (humming generators) and natural. It reminds me a bit of that.
