26:49 if I’m not mistaken, SVT have received a wide range of dance training, like, if necessary, they attend the dance classes they need for their comebacks… if i also remember correctly, they learned ballet for Don’t Wanna Cry.
That's so cool that they invest in their technique for specific comebacks in addition to their predebut training. I respect that a lot!
Dino are so versatile. People need to acknowledge him more. He is one of the best dancer in the industry.
I think Dino was majorly trained in Hip-hop by his dad until he got cast by Pledis. He is criminally underrated for his skills as a dancer! Pledis trained all the members in different styles of dancing including hip-hop, popping, locking, krumping, house, Jazz and I think they even got a bit of ballet training for Don't Wanna Cry. Other contemporary styles as well.. I am not sure abt waacking since I have seen only Jun do it... I personally think Dino has the best dance technique in SVT and one of the best I have ever seen in the industry.. He has such pretty lines, I think he would do great in contemporary. He has a lot of potential in that style even though it is not what he generally does.. HipHop is where he shines tho.. His moves are smooth, fluid and groovy so perfect for hip-hop.. I live Cheating On You's cover because Seungkwan and Dino have similar save styles probably coz Dino taught/helped Seungkwan dance.. I have seen a lot of idol dancers whose technique might cause them potential injuries but I think Dino has honed his skills in a way that he hasn't had any major injuries in the 8yrs of his idol career. 30:43 Idk if you already know, but Bumzu is a singer/producer also under Pledis and works with Woozi in writing and producing almost all of Seventeen's songs. Woozi and Bumzu are my favorite production duo :D

I agree that when he does contemporary choreo it reveals a part of his soul we don’t get to see with hip hop. Love them both but his modern dance feels so much more intimate.
Also his Vernon and Mingyu collabs are two of my favs.
