- Anuheake’alaokalokelani Jenkins is an accomplished Native Hawaiian, contemporary singer/songwriter with an easygoing island style from the island of Maui. She made her debut in 2009 and just a year later won two prestigious Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards for most promising artist and contemporary album of the year. This mother of one has performed, toured, and shared stages with artists such as Bruno Mars, SOJA, Kimié, Tenelle, Fiji, Jack Johnson, Cas Haley, Ziggy Marley, and our past podcast guest Jake Shimabukuro. She is one of the top musical artists from Hawai’i of all-time! My middle daughter name is Anuhea. I always Loved her name. Im Hawaiian & my name is Healani. All my life my name has been said so many ways LOL. All my daughters have Hawaiian names. On the mainland u can tell if someone is from Hawai'i cause they say our names right LOL. But people always love our names, they think our names r so pretty AND our names have meaning
As someone struggling with a severe eating disorder, my mental health is in shambles most days. I've actually just started microdosing mushrooms and I am excited for this journey, I feel like it's very promising for Eating Disorder treatment and could finally be the thing to help this terrible disease!
