These are great cars. Bought mine new and gave it the entire Dinan treatment, including the shorter geared diff, back when Steve owned the company. The engine is epic, with the fastest throttle response ever, and that sound! I still take the car for all services and updates to Steve Dinan’s CarBahn shop in San Jose, and got a ride in a recently completed stoker motor 4.6L car, and OMG - it’s a religious experience!
Great idea. Car audio applications would be an incredible addition to the channel. It’d be cool to see what he does in each era of cars. I’m hoping that we see more of a revolution of modern functions with classic styling…from the manufacturers like Porsche is doing. Then we can watch Matt inevitably find a way to put $20,000 worth of speakers in a car like he did in his home garage.
I'm 27 and this is one of my favourite cars. My only problem is that in Europe the gas is so expensive you have to be "Porsche rich" to run these things and you have to be "M3 rich" to run Hondas lol. That's why most of us here have 2.0 diesels.
lol def. agree on that. I drive a Prius as a daily due to the freakin´ expensive gas. As a weekend car i got a e46 330cd coupe with 305ps and 768nm :) Man gotta need some fun in their lives as well haha :-D
I miss the old intro with the GT3RS, the 1M and the E92. Loved to hear the exhausts on those cars. Anyway, I'm really exited to follow along and watch you dial in the new E92!
Matt after seeing this E92 M3 in person I was just stunned of how clean, sorted and dialed in it is. Love the color and would sure look great in my garage here in Kissimmee ! :)
The E9x M3 doesn't get nearly the respect it deserves in automotive circles. An E90 M3 is still one of the most enjoyable cars I've ever driven. It might even be more fun than my GT350R because it's not as hard-edged as the R. I hated it when BMW tossed that engine out in favor of the turbo I6, and I still do. That little V8 was just a joy.
If you want to improve shifting ease under throttle, put some Bimmerworld Performance engine mounts in. I noticed a great improvement in shifting precision, but they do take 500-1000 miles for them to settle in.
I am with you on the sound as I have commented before. Sounds amazing. Looking forward to making some purchases next month to see if I can bring this home.
i wish i could win this car... a child dream. I know plenty cars faster out there but the E92 M3 is just a perfect machine. The E46 M3 is lighter more limbo drives and all but nothing beat that S65. Damn this is so cool
Looking forward to the documentary! My e90 is almost setup the same besides headers and brakes! Maybe you can also show your products and cleaning the carbon fiber engine bay 😎
Sounds great. Wish you would do the schrick cams and ported itbs. As it is sounds great, no tinny exhaust. I would not be able to let a car like this go.
If you do another engine for the new car, get a spare engine Take your time and build it in the background. Really a stroker not necessary, light weight rods and pistons some headwork ported itbs and same bolt ons you have now.
I apologize if this is disrespectful in any way, but you or someone explain the backstory or why Matt isn’t fully comfortable on certain streets. Couldn’t help but notice him bring it up a few times and I was slightly confused. Thanks. Great car and great video!
I do admit that yours sounds unbelievable but then you've been through 10's of thousands to get it to sound like this and it still doesn't sound like a v8! You fire up a C65 and you get that immediate deep growl that is instantaneously recognised. Don't get me wrong, I'd have this car in a heartbeat over a Merc but it just doesn't sound like a V8.
Do you think the Dinan stroker for increasing the displacement to keep the car as N/A is worth it? I am not really sure how much increase in terms of performance compared to the supercharger though. Just curious of your thoughts!
Please release some new shirts for the giveaway, maybe some more colors of the long sleeve. I want to enter and I have almost every shirt you currently have in every color... :)
Matt, might be a weird question, but if a California (or any CARB state) owner wins the giveaway, is there anyway they could have the car put together so it could pass emissions in the respective state(s)?! Appreciate all of your attention to detail on all of your projects.
Hey Matt, I was pretty surprised to see your review/opinion of the e46 M3. I currently have an e46 M3 and I love it, but I’ve had it for 7 years now and have been seriously considering replacing it with an M2 competition. Have you driven one? I know you have a hard on for the E92 M3, but when I drove one, I think I had a similar opinion of it to how you had of the e46. It just felt heavy and lethargic compared to my E46. When I test drive the M2 competition (6mt) it felt like an updated version of my e46, but with more power and a bit of turbo lag. Curious on your thoughts if you have driven one. Thanks in advance!
Love your channel Matt. That said, you are driving WAY too fast in residential neighborhoods. There are children playing in those streets. Really, stop. Drive fast on the highway if you must.
The car does sound great, especially in this pop and bag era.
F the pop and bang era. What a shit show.
Pop and bag, sounds deadly
Matt, glad to see you’re able to drive with some relaxation!!
when properly treated the e92 m3 is literally a perfect car
Indeed a sweet ride...I got my shopping list ready!
@@peterjohnson8631 yes... Certain products on his website will enter you in a raffle for the car

Got mine a month ago. Changed all fluids, filters and the rod bearings (with LCI ones). Cant wait to enjoy driving this machine more and more!
You should definitely do a stereo in the new one. It will complete the package.

A proper intake & exhaust is your stereo!!
really depends on the spec. 676, 752 audio is not that good but S677 Logic 7 is amazing in E9x series

Move to USA 🇺🇸
So excited to see this gen M3. My dream was a 2011 M3 sedan & a 2014 ISF. I took delivery of my 2022 IS500 launch Edition over the weekend.
Jeeze... best sounding cabin sound I think I've ever heard in a car lol. Did not know the E92 M3 could sound like that!

I am so excited for your new E92 M3. I love your m3 content; every video is super well made and knowledgeable.
…you’re right; it doesn’t get any better than that! Great job 👌.
I can’t wait for the next house build series

Wow. It's always a pleasure to hear this sound! Here in Germany you can chase him on the Autobahn to the limiter! 🔝👍
These cars are fantastic, especially if it was an E90.
This sound with headphones is amazing! 😍😍😍

On throttle! Love the sound Matt! Enjoyed the ride.
What a glorious sounding car!
Happy to hear my car is doing well... I just need to pick a good keychain.
Easily one of the best cars ever made
Love your m3 videos please keep it up
Man. The M3 sounds so good.
Hey Matt just FYI- Your Spaces are made by Fall-Line Motorsports. Very top spec company that is through IND.
I am with you on the sound as I have commented before. Sounds amazing. Looking forward to making some purchases next month to see if I can bring this home.
I don’t usually do any type of giveaways, but this… this is the one !
wow nice bmw matt it drives and sounds awesome, bless you mate
Perfection is right!
Great video and you seemed relaxed.
EPIC sound !!!
Sweet, this is the giveaway I'm looking forward to!

I always find it crazy how straight every road is in the US.
Depends where you are though. Colorado not so straight
Congrats Sir, nice ride.
It sounds nice!!

Lmao how fast he shut the radio off in the beginning 😂
That's a sweet sounding vehicle... fingers crossed I can land this win haha
Can you overtake on solid double lines in America serious question ,we cant in the uk
No
How does the steering tune feel with the engine flash?
Are the OG boys taking there cars to the track? Definitely think Ken should take the WRX…

OCD I think. 😮
OCD / Anxiety. He might have gotten into an accident at some point which is triggered in certain circumstances.

That is what makes it great. It sounds like nothing else.
Put a zhp shift knob in it
May I ask what your spring rate is for the front McPherson and rear divorced setup? Thanks.
this exhaust setup is basically your upgraded stereo
What air intake do you have on it?
Is this the one that had the water spots?
Why do so many people park where their driveway meets the road? Is that so people don’t turn around in their driveway?
you should get a chrysler cordoba, they have corinthian leather.
Nice BMW 👍
What do you think about powerful Diesel engines?
Supercharge it for the giveaway so that you can tick that box and experience it.
Then put the eventuri plenum onto your new one.
Hi Gents, what happened to the Friday podcast?
Do you think the Dinan stroker for increasing the displacement to keep the car as N/A is worth it? I am not really sure how much increase in terms of performance compared to the supercharger though. Just curious of your thoughts!
It's certainly not the most economical way to do it. A supercharger will give you much more power for much less money.
Mmm gotta have a V8!
Please release some new shirts for the giveaway, maybe some more colors of the long sleeve. I want to enter and I have almost every shirt you currently have in every color... :)

They would just have to put cats on it. I'm not going to do it, but they can easily have it done.
How's the E36 coming along?
It'll be done and shown next month at BMWInvasion.
I’m in! Also what is your opinion on light weight fly wheels and carbon drive shafts?
I've never liked the idea of a lightweight flywheel. It has too many cons for me.
Man I can only pray that I win this car from you. It would be a lifelong car and treated better than Queen Elizabeth lol
I regret selling mine!
Yeet.
OG, seeing how much he's trashed and abused it, do you ever regret selling your GT350 to AdamLZ?
no supercharger!
No supercharger!!!
I want to win Matty's E92, so I can stop looking at stinky ones for sale.
