Encampment set up at University of Florence campus in solidarity with Palestine

Students in Florence, Italy, organized a rally and erected a tent in support of Palestine and for their university to end its scientific cooperation agreement with Israel.
Students at the University of Florence organized a rally in Piazza San Marco, where the rectorate building is located, calling for an end to Israel's attacks on Gaza and the genocide against Palestinians.
The students called for a halt to the Israeli army's advance on Rafah and for universities to stop their scientific cooperation with Israel as soon as possible.
In the rally, which was attended by approximately 400 people, the students expressed that the public opinion should take a clear stance against what Israel is doing in Gaza.
