I can't tell you how many times I watch one of your videos and think, there is NO WAY she can make all that mess work together, and then every time, you DO. This is so cool and unexpected and I love it!
What she said!❤
@@jnordforsyip my words exactly
Thank you 😊
LOL... like @jnordfors above... "What she said!"
Me, too! What @jnordfors said! Why do I doubt your genius?
Luise, you never fail to amaze me with your creativity. Each of those papers were completely transformed into works of art and then turned into one beautiful piece of art. TFS ♥️
Thank you so much 😊
Luise, your brain is amazing! I am always fascinated by your process and really love this project (as always). The layering and colors are awesome! ❤
I love how you pulled this off. Adding the piece to the journal gave it a whole new look and brought out so many details in your piece. I love how it turned out. TFS ❤❤❤
I was waiting for the white splatters!
I have been struggling with the concept of an autumn journal. I have found lots of things to use, but they are all so bright! I love autumn, but partly for the melancholy aura. This video has resolved so many of my creative issues. From just one video I have so many new ideas to knock down the too happy autumn papers etc. I am using mostly my own papers and lot of the collage fodder that you taught us a while ago. Thanks for another really instructive, but fun video.
I’ve been making some AI digital art & trying to explain the muted Autumn colours I want to a computer who can’t see but only pictures “classic” bright Autumn colours, has been a major mission! But… an awesome video I watched where a watercolour artist just used Burnt Umber & Ultramarine Blue put me on the right path. Since then, I’ve found various colours that have fit with my more muted & moody Autumn forests than the classic bright sunny-skied Autumn trees & leaves in picture books. Burnt Sienna, Dark Burgundy, Forest Green, with Phthalo blue/green, Indigo, Paynes Grey etc. Haven’t found a way of translating those into Distress Oxides though 🤔🤷♀️
@@allisonjames2923 Thanks Allison. Those are good color choices. I have been using the Distress watercolor pencils to tone down some of the brights. I use Distress Oxide sprays on papers and splatter with some white gesso and metallic water colors for backgrounds. The backgrounds are also good for die cutting autumn leaves.
Thank you!
My favorite thing about your videos is how much you explain your process as you go through your decision making!! It is so helpful and inspiring 🤗
Thank you so much ❤️
What an amazing page after you went with your gut feeling! Yes, I'm very proud of my little junk journal sista! ❤😃 And no, I don't have Squeezed Lemonade! I'm not sure I need it 😂
You don't only have an interesting spelling today, you also have weird things in your head! You DEFINITELY need it!!!
Great make as always. You never fail to delight me. You mention German lessons, I’d sign up to take them from you. Really I am not joking. You could video and teach while crafting, cooking, cleaning etc.. all things you have to do anyway.😁I think a lot of us would pay for lessons from you. But never stop what you do in videos like this. ✌🏻😊
That's so cute 😊 I think you would learn really weird english if you would learn it from me 🤣
@@luiseheinzl I have the English you could teach us German. We’d sign up and prepay 😊
You are absolutely one brilliant, creative, think out of the box, Artist!! So so freakin talented! Thank you ❤
Aww 🥰 thank you so much ❤️
Wow, spectacular artwork! Watching this creation was so fun. Came over to watch because of Megjournals. Nicely done!! ❤
Thank you very much ❤️
You constantly amaze me! So creative and fun. Thank you for the German lessons I actually enjoy them very much. Hugs and blessings, 🤗🇨🇦❤️
I love it when you start wading corners up! Really grunges it up. LOve the colors of ink and your choice of papers to go along with them! Adding those black die cuts just make it!
You never cease to amaze me... this piece is really good Luise. The colors, texture, dimension... EVERYTHING about it is really really good.
I love how you explain your design choices and decisions. The brown totally helped make it look like a Luise creation!
Very creative project. Love the added black flowers. Black coaster and die cut brought it all together. Enjoyed watching the process. Dreamer of Dreams, perfect. Gorgeous……
Omg. You crack me up with your expressive comments..love it❤ Your creativity is amazing!!!Absolutely love to watch you create !
I love your German lessons! I spent time in Germany while in the Army. Love the country of my ancestors!
Well as soon as I saw your colour pallet I had to comment! GO LUISE, u never use pinks and bright colours so this makes me so happy that your doing this and taking the plunge, well back to the vid ❤❤❤
Congrats on getting the whole palette!! I've been hoping for that for you. I don't have them all (because I don't think I would use that "whatever" color, I don't do yellow, etc. "sqeezed lemon." I only have it because I had to make a rainbow.) Ok, when I saw the color palette, I was in shock. I love how you picked it, but when I looked at it, I thought, "How does that go together?" This should be good! But as usual, your magic, and it's perfect. A couple of times, I was saying that's cheating. (Gathered twigs & the elimination of the yellow doily), twigs was true to yourself, weird pallette but that made it Luise,s pallette. but the Black Doily was genius tying it all together visually & on your journal page. It was perfect! I feel like I'm watching a magician. On minute your looking at an empty hat and the next BAM. There's a rabbit in it!🤔 I'm mesmerized by you! TFS❤ya
SO beautiful and now so YOU! One thing I find so valuable in your videos is how you help me to figure out what is "wrong" or what I don't like. I often know I hate what I'm working on, but it can be really difficult to pinpoint what is bothering me or how to fix it. You always do that so very well!!
Aww 🥰 thank you so much ❤️
Sometimes we have a vision what we are making and then it takes a life of its own to become something amazing. Thank you for sharing.
OMG, "I don't know why I'm so spontaneous heute..." brilliant, happens to me so much, too. Mixing all my languages zusammen 😅
I so enjoy watching you change your mind through the whole creative process. ❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Blessings lovely from Colleen
This is spectacular!!! I love how you just jump in and try things so fearlessly, and it always turns out to be fabulous.
Thank you so much ❤️
🤩 I love how this came together. The colors, the layers and the contrast 🎉
Thanks Luise! It turned out amazing! Love the German lesson since my Grandma was full German and I'd make her laugh trying to repeat German back to her.
Hi Luise! ❤ i was anxoius for your colaboration and it is amazing!!! It really is!!! Wow! I Love it! Thank you for the adorable tutorial and lots of inspiration! Have a nice weeek!!!❤❤❤❤
By jove you've done it again! Fantastic transformation!
Luise: outstanding; the piece and your sense of humor! Carol from California
Thank you so much ❤️
I love how you show your process and all of the creative problem solving
Wow Luise! I love this page. You are so right. The background is the perfect setting. Excellent!! Thanks!
Yay, Luise, you did not disappoint... I just knew the grunge will come at some stage! Love it!
Holy Frickin Fantastic! This looks absolutely AMAZING!! I love it!!
Thank you
There were so many times that I thought, "Oh, no! She's ruined it!" Lol. But then you came back and tied it all together in the end. That was so fun to watch!
Well, you don't wanna know how often I thought that as well 🤣
@@luiseheinzl 😆
Luisa, this is absolutely gorgeous! I love it ❤
I'd love to see how you created your book cover. Once again you never fail to amaze me!!!
For that cover there's unfortunately no video.... But it wasn't a big deal at all lol.
It's just some dyed fabric that I've sewn with my sewing machine
I love how this turned out! Just amazing on your journal page!
I wish i could live in your brain for a day. I love your thought process!
I promise you, you DON'T want that lol
You are so cool and love watching you. Your work is amazing and thank you.
Just absolutely phenomenal!!
Absolutely gorgeous 🤩🤩🤩
Truly lovely❤❤❤
Hi Luise. Wow. What vision and creativity you have. When you started I couldn't see where you were going. And then when you bold stamped the inkpad directly on your project I cringed. And then you talked about adding black. I said no..don't do it. Well my dear with each step it just got prettier and prettier. Wowza. Also I always giggle when you give the product number because long ago you used to giggle at Barbara for doing that. Haha. TFS your friend in Nebraska USA ❤😁
Thank you ❤️ ....and yes, I've always loved Barbara for doing that (and for other reasons of course lol). And I love her for how professional and organized she's doing that. I guess I have learned a tiny little bit from her 😊
this turned out so gorgeous!
Thank you so much, my friend
WOW, Luise! I will definitely create something like this for my journal. Thanks for the inspiration.
Ah yes. Right at the end the page is happy! It’s funny how art tells you what it wants to be & often it’s very different from your intention. But once you put the last few layers & the butterfly on, it all made sense, but when you put it on the page, it slotted into its place like the final jigsaw piece. I definitely “get” yours & Barbara’s collages far more than I do most. The only other person I’ve found who has the same kind of talent in that as you guys is Robyn McClendon
Thank you so much ❤️
Your creativeness blows me away. Love this!
What a beautiful piece you ended up with after all the twists and turns along the way! Incredible Luise xxx💕
Lovely 😊 👍
Brilliant!❤
It turned out amazing, Luise!😊
From trash to treasure, rhanks
You are pure magic ❤
Thanks a lot!
WOW!! Gorgeous!❤
This is genius. I love your creativity Luise
I love it when it all came together on the journal page.
That turned out amazing!
Stunning
Way cool 👏👏👏😎
You have totally changed those papers and they turned out amazing!! I agree, the page that you selected made it even better!! You are very talented
Beautiful!!
Cute thanks for sharing
This is awesome! Thank you! :)
This is so fantastic!
Very unique! I love it!!
I love this! So clever, Luise.
I absolutely love this!!
Thank you so much ❤️
Amazing!
This is amazing 🤩
What an amazing page, I was wondering how you are going to balance all those colours. But I love it🌸
Luisa plays and I play ...2 different outcomes but 😊👍💞
That's the fun of our community!
FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRST 😎😎😎😎🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷Brasil here
😊
The result was very cool, more you than previous. So would you choose your palette in the same way again? I’m don’t have much expertise in choosing a color palette but I’m not sure about this method lol.
Well... Perhaps not tomorrow, but some day I will definitely do that again. I think for that method you have to be in exactly the right mood to be able to handle that mess lol
Luise, what is the color sequence you arrange your oxides? I am starting to do my swatches (thanks for the inspiration) and would love to know in what order you place your colors. Thanks
I have all my Ranger colors in little shelfs on the wall above my craft table, so that I can see them well. I followed the Ranger pallette - go to their website and download the color chart, that's really helpful! The most helpful thing for me is that my mediums are ordered by color, not by medium. Does that make sense? For example: it starts with the color spun sugar. Then every medium that I have from that color is there in the same spot of the shelf. Holy moly, that's hard to explain, I hope you understand what I mean
👍❤🇺🇸
What GSM weight paper do you print downloads on?
For journal pages 110g and for ephemera 200g
I can’t believe how you’ve been able to change ugly scrapbook paper into a beautiful and cohesive page. Actually I can believe it. It’s you after all. 😂🇨🇦😂
Hehe 😀 if I can do it, everyone can do it!
Love it🩷
@49dragonsflies also just uploaded a new video, I'm going to comment and I'll be right back 🤣🤣🤣
