- Something strange is afoot in Minecraft! Tiny Vu enlists the help of super sleuths Tiny Agnes and Tiny Jens to track down the three mystery mobs that want to join Minecraft. Only one can join, and it’s up to you to help us decide which one!
Vote for your favorite mob on Minecraft.net, the Minecraft launcher, or in a special Bedrock server! Voting opens on October 14, noon EDT giving you 24 hours to make your voice heard. Read more about the mob vote at Minecraft.net/live

I like how they treat eggs in chests and moving hats as being on the same level of severity as stalking.
You're right, stalking isn't as bad as the other two.
To be fair, you would probably be very concerned if you're drawers were suddenly full of eggs or if the things on your house suddenly changed places.

The underground one sounds the most hype atm, I just love scary/creepy stuff in Minecraft tbh
Their names were leaked as the sniffer , the rascal and tuff golem.
The sniffer probably the underwater creature and rascal is the one who keeps stealing items and tuff golem spied on agnes in the mines.
The on that moves hats could be an undead mob that steals a helmet (or other headgear) from the player, or armor stands
I guessing all of them will be useless again... And the winner will be again the worse of the 3 as always.. Sad

Also, the sniffer adds new plants which makes it automatically beat the rascal.

well i love the ideas of the rascal and the sniffer, but i think that the tuff golem will have something to do with sorting items in chests, and if it is that, it will win by a landslide, I realized that we usually pick the least interesting mob, the one that helps with tasks we already know about and want, and never the ones that bring new features
The Rascal was messing with Jeb’s chests since rascal is another word for mischievous, the Sniffer was following Agnes like how dogs follow people based on their scent, and the Tuff Golem was moving Vu’s hats since the Copper Golem was meant to do something similar.

Rascal was spying on her in the mines, Sniffer eggs were in the chest, and Tuff golem moved the hats.

Creepers are the face of Minecraft, so it would be great if we could have different variants of creepers, such as fire creepers, lava creepers in the nether, etc. It would make the game more unpredictable and interesting as a whole.

im hoping tuff golem is a friendly mob that can distract hostile mobs by taking aggro off you. maybe it does this by making noise, like constantly switching the helm its wearing. so then you could bring tuff golem to deep dark and place them when the warden spawns. that way you can move without having to de-sensor/catalyst/shrieker the whole place.

You know this time it's gonna be different when they announce the mobs on Minecraft live instead of just each of them having their own individual RUclips video telling the viewers about them
I'm going to guess that they'll each have an announcement video. Changes are occurring to the mob vote. This time, you don't vote on Twitter, but on a special Bedrock server, in the launcher, and on Minecraft's website. Also, the vote will be open for 24 hours before Minecraft Live and will close when it begins.
This time let's not have another Glow Squid. That mob is the greatest shame and most grievous failure in Minecraft history, so let's not have any more mobs like it.

I'm hoping 1.20 will be the Archeology Update. But by Archeology it wouldn't just be implementing the scrapped Archeology feature, but also digging back through all of the past ideas that have been scrapped or delayed, such as the desert, badlands, savannah, birch forest biomes, iceologer, moobloom, copper golem, glare, and more. It would probably be a less strenuous update since the scope of it would all be with concepts that have already been designed, rather than making new stuff from scratch and accidentally trying to make too much all at once like the caves and cliffs.

@@h.0951 honestly one of these sounds kinda like it could be the "rascal" from the leaks. Or they could all be one mob that happens to be doing all of this. I mean an aquatic and land creature isnt something we really have, also the shell in the background could mean its a crab mob. A crab that can somehow hide in stuff could be interesting. It would make sense if it lays eggs in ruins and was under a hat. The cave one is a bit of a stretch

I guarantee you all that this is the Archaeology Update as, for example, the Sniffer is something extinct that you bring back. You're recovering something from the past.

I suspect the likes of the mansion and ancient city might be a lil different. (Lore wise anyway)
I think the one where it "moves hats" has got to be something that takes stuff like an enderman, my best guess is a RACCOON. The wolves and foxes could use another forest mob friend.

Idea:
1. The Nautilus (Judging from the shell sculpture and the mention of eggs in ocean ruins)
2. Glare 2.0 (Stalker in the caves)
3. Thief - An illager type that can pick up items and run away with them (Judging from villager portraits and hat theft)
The mob names were actually leaked by someone, the mobs are the "rascal", "tuff golem", and "sniffer" the tuff golem is most likely the one stalking, and thief is actually a pretty similar word to rascal so you're definitely right on that one

First. the person who leaked it actually leaked something else before it, and it turned out to be true
Second. Check the official Minecraft channels latest video, they actually revealed one of the mob votes already, believe it or not. It was called the "sniffer" which is actually one of the three mobs the person leaked. (The other three haven't been revealed yet)

so the sniffer comes from eggs, the rascal spys on you in the mines the only mob left is one that moves stuff around, and i think its those little golems around them that you can see when lightning lights up the room.
After watching this video I have come to a conclusion that realistic fish, pet bat and annoying friend will be the options.

The ammonite shell? The stone block? A villager painting? I say they’re revamping that underwater squid mob, bringing some sort of mimic that steals your items, and then a villager that will lurk in caves and maybe even rob previous materials from you

I personally think that 1.20 will be an archeology update because first off the sniffer is an extinct mob, The tuff golem could be like a cool way to display ancient artifacts and the rascal could be used to trade artifacts or give you special tools for excavation. Tell me if im wrong this is just a mini theory that I have come up with!
Honestly, I just wanted to have another tameable mob. I'm always craving for more of those, and I feel like it's about time we get another friend that follows us around

You could argue that pretty much every peaceful mob is like that, since they follow you if you're holding a certain item, but dogs/cats/parrots are unique in their sit & follow mechanics, and other individual characteristics which makes them properly "pets". The allay is very similar, but still kinda impersonal since you can't "untame" the 3 pet mobs like u can with the allay

I’m happy as long as they don’t make us choose between 3 retextured mobs (like the one in 2020)
Only one of those was a retextured mob though. And that ended up being the one that won. Which is why everyone hates that one.
@@bobertbopala The Moobloom wasn't a retexture. It was going to add a new flower (buttercups) and a new friendly interaction with bees, as well as attention to the often overlooked flower forest biome, those are the ones I recall just from the top of my head.
My Reactions and my predictions :)

My best guess is a new underwater mob. I REALLY HOPE THAT WE GET A LEVITATION OF SOME SORT. I know we already have drowned but considering that the ocean holds so many mysteries, this underwater mod could be a nice touch.
2: “Someone spied on me in the mines.”
Maybe they’re gonna make like another mob that resembles the Glare from last year? Although I highly doubt that they would repeat mobs. Either way i hope it’ll be a like a semi passive mob, considering that it might be lurking in the caves and we also have the Warden.
Actually, the name “Lurk” sounds like a fitting name for this mob considering on its description so far.
3: “My hats keep moving around.”
Now THATS an interesting mechanic. Imagine having like a mob similar to the allay and the vex except this one just steals your armor. Gonna be annoying if you have Netherite armor. They’ll just see it and take it away from you. I feel like this only happen if the player wears their armor for too long or if they hadn’t put their armor in an armor stand. This way it would give the armor stand a lot more of a purpose.
Another idea would be that instead of armor, this mob could potentially rearrange everything you have organized in your armor stands. You could have an armor stand full of gold, iron, and diamond armor and then turn around for a couple of seconds, and then come back to see that this “hat switcher” mixed everything up. XD
my prediction is
#1 would be the Rascal
#2 would be the tuff golem
#3 would be the Sniffer
1: Probably some kind of crab or nautilus mob, Maybe hostile, Maybe not. Would be cool if it had a new mechanic besides putting eggs in underwater chests, maybe a hostile or neutral mob that starts attacking you if you open chests with eggs? Don't think there would be a leviathan creature though.
2: Probably some kind of ghost or creature made out of stone or something, would be cool if it just ambiently watches you, maybe it should be really dark or blend in with it's surroundings and should have eyes that glow similar to spiders or endermen but brighter. Perhaps it could attack the player if they look away for too long?
3: Probably a little gremlin type creature that moves around or, less likely even steals items or blocks inside of chests or inventories (probably not inventory tho). Hoping it would be a raccoon type creature.
