Similar setup to my elementary school except they are slightly newer strobe plates and they replaced the initiating devices with addressable Simplex ones. Interestingly, the 4007ES doesn’t have its own cabinet and is instead in the old 4002 cabinet. You are right that these are very robust panels. That elementary school’s panel never had any false alarms the whole time I was there. The only trouble that I ever saw on it was from a portable that got rain in it through an open window and water-damaged a detector. My district actually replaced all of the systems in its elementary schools at the time with 4007ES panels around 10 years ago and they are all still going strong.
7:40 sounds like my Cedar Creek Elementary School when we had those Fire drills the Wheelock as were in the building and Simplex 2901-9838 from outside the building in East Bethel Minnesota
That throbbing, reminds me of one '9806 and a couple of '9833s, even on a Simplex 2001 FACP. I think it's literally because of the outdoor strobe. Noticed that with one in a group home as well, which had a Simplex 4001, but I think a thunderstorm wrecked it in 1998! Replaced with what is most likely an ESL 1500! The '9833 by the hallway exit, sounds like that, too! Think it's the outdoor strobe! IIRC, in the case of that group home, it was after the ESL FACP was installed.
one of my middle schools have Gentex commanders in the main building, PC2Ws in the band section, white ceiling L series in the portables and P2RKs outside of the portables
Oh look, yet another school with break-glass 4251-30 pulls! (It seems they were popular with school fire alarm systems in the 1970s and 1980s.) Regarding the Stopper II covers, it'd be neat if they used the ones that read "IN CASE OF FIRE, LIFT COVER - BREAK GLASS" on those Simplex break-glass pulls. (The Stopper covers with that lettering were meant for use with European call points, but more often than not the "PULL FIRE ALARM" lettering version would be installed over them, which is probably why the default model now instead reads "ACTIVATE FIRE ALARM".) Yeah, at least a Simplex 4007ES panel is a great choice for replacing older hard-wired Simplex fire alarm panels.
7:59 this harmony continuesly tickles my brain
I absolutely just love the harmony the horns create.
Do u know why they call them horns??
@ The part that makes the noise is called a horn. I’m not sure why though.
@@TheEmmaleighMorticia666 Because that's what they are
There’s nothing better than the sound of healthy Simplex mechanical horns harmonizing together
Agreed!

Cool, I love all these fire alarm videos
Awesome School! I like those Simplex 2903 with horns!
0:21 SINGLE ACTION BG12S!! :D
REAL 😂
This is the panel my HS had/has 🥳
2:18 The Portables Had System Sensor L Series Horn Strobes P2RLs
They were advances
7:22 this sounds exactly like a wheelock 7002T
The devices in the portables are boring, but the ones in the main building are awesome. Some 2903s skip like Wheelock 7002Ts in Full Alarm.
It’s cause they’re running system sensor sync
The one at 7:23 sounds just like one
one of my middle schools have Gentex commanders in the main building, PC2Ws in the band section, white ceiling L series in the portables and P2RKs outside of the portables
Why do several of these horns skip? are they running on smartsync?
No they’re running on system sensor sync

RUINENDS 8 JUST BLOCK THE SCREAMERS OUT
This system is just like my Elementry school only Diffrence is my Elementry school has the 2903 Light Plates and 4251 - 20’s
Why did you not record the mini horn
I think the stopper might actually be louder than the alarm😂
District went from Simplex to Gamewell FCI back to Simplex?
The company that installed the portables probably use Gamewell FCI.
NOICE
It's a shame the bells don't work
Those bells are more than likely class change bells.
@DJMarcyMOO-u2e Oh ok. They look like FS Vibratone bells. Thanks for the info.
Check Screamers and Code 3 Check
That MT in the gym is dying
It’s an AS and it’s perfectly fine.
Yeah it's just doing code 3
@@FourtyFiftyEightyit sounds like it's glitching
Sounds perfectly fine though I did hear the glitch
