@@fredericleroux6602 It's one of those songs that was done so perfectly the first time that doing a cover is an undertaking. To do it poorly would be insulting. Priest did a pretty good version.
@Lemopalm Funny you mention Foreigner did you know that Lou Gramm and I stress didn't want to record another ballad "I Don't Want To Live Without You" which was released as a single in 1988 oddly around the time this song by Judas Priest was recorded?! If you listen to his vocals you can tell his heart wasn't in it when compared to earlier power ballads "Waiting For A Girl Like You" and I Want To Know What Love Is" where his heart was in it for those other songs. This was also due to him not wanting them to be known for sappy ballads as they were a rock band. 🎸🎹🧑🎤💽
I understand why their producer refused to release this at the time. But I think it’s time the world got to hear this.
It would have been a number one hit back in the day. And it would still make waves today.

I agree with you!
Stop playing with my emotions, this has been out for a few years now.
Either get a hold of the fool that has the entire thing or get out of my face
I hope one day this is released fully 🙏

Release it it’s time for a new power ballad. At least as a single.
Cool
👏👏👏
It's really good but it would have alienated their fan base at the time because people would say it sounds like Foreigner

@@SuperMarioBrosIII: GUESSING Thom Bell (Stylistics' producer) LOVED it - definitely DOESN'T sound like EITHER of those Foreigner hits.....
