- Welcome back to Ghost of Tsushima. Today I'll be some more of the awesome combat this game has to offer as well as the slightly updated stealth gameplay that was introduced with the PS5 version. I absolutely love this game & I'm glad to be playing more of it for you guys. Thanks for watching :D

I started this a week ago. This game is on another level. The combat is outstanding, but I also love how the nature part is intertwined within the game, it makes it even more immersive and connected to the open world. You are a beast!
The nature aspect of this game is way too overlooked but it is more of an afterthought after the first playthrough imo
Same here got a ps5 for Christmas and got it in the bundle and man I knew it was good but it is probably my new favorite game

It's hard to wrap your head around how many things Ghost of Tsushima does well. Some of the best combat feel anywhere, and easily the best for an open-world game.

Ghost of Tsushima has good stealth graphics and atmosphere but combat definitely is not one of the best. For open world yes one of the best.
@@outsidechambaz Combat might not be perfect but as i know of, its the best im a skilled player of myself in GOT, theres a combat you could do which you could cancel attacks and such and also air juggling which few people might not know and also the sarugami armor adds some cool parries, check out the advance combats and also air juggling you'll see how fast jin handles his sword when cancelling attacks.

Ghost of Tutshima is truly great game, i agree with the fact that combat mode has been done amazingly but when it comes ti open world games Witcher 3 combat mode is by far number 1.
This game is so outstanding. Environment, mechanics, traversal, combat, story. Just stellar!

water 0/10 no effort, it looks like water from Prince of Persia: The Two Throne.
I only have issues with Stealth Mechanics and Enemy AI, I wishe they were more inteligent, and they tried really hard to find us, and that they were not blind on the side, also I wished for more Animations and more variety, I was hoping for a Metal Gear but for Ninjas, but we got more of a Assassins Creed/FarCry
But The Combat I Have no complain its The Best I've seem in years

Not just only the tanto kill animation but they also added 1 sword sheathing for taking the blood out of the sword and also added 1 bow respect animation

I think ,This game doesn't need a sequel.It's already perfect in it's own way ,letting the player fully feel what it is like to be a stealth-invicible ,fierce-swordsman samurai /ninja.I hope this will also come to pc sooner.
The Mongols did do a second invasion on Tsushima a few years later, so they could do another if they wanted to.
Hell no they already said he's still being hunted why wouldn't there be a sequel?

Still one of my favorite games. I love it so much, and it's still fun
i forgot how easy this game is the more you progress. By the end, once you unlock all the different abilities, you can practically just run through enemies.
No other game allows you to be such a bad ass. This game stands alone in my opinion. The developers must be so proud of themselves.

This, along the Arkham games, are the only ones to ever make me WANT to play stealth. It usually feels like such a chore and it's not something for which I have a lot of patience. Here the stealth isn't required necessarily but it provides Jin with so many tactical advantages that you're hard pressed to ignore it. Oh and most importantly it's really FUN! Snipe a couple of dudes before going in for a chain assassination? Sure! Throw a poison wind chime and watch a guy vomit before keeling over? Why not? Hallucination dart?? Don't mind if I do! Key word FUN and varied is what makes this combat special
Funny you bring up the Arkham games, cuz something I really like in Tsushima is how you can terrify your enemies and make them run from you screaming in sheer horror. It's almost like you're becoming batman, instilling this superstitious terror in the Mongols that makes you seem like a true demonic spirit, something supernatural that's driven by a thirst for vengeance
@@Crimson_Sun2486 Yes. It does feel very Arkam-esque. The way he uses fear to gain the advantage on his foes. I actually kinda started to feel bad at one point because I was just slaughtering Mongols left and right 😅 well almost anyways
the samurai turned ninja story plot is amazing
There is such amazing material for Ghost of Tutshima part 2. Jin as a shinobi vs shogun that went mad, for example. They could bring back Yuna and Tomoe as a Jin alies. There is so much option out there.

I'll never forget this game really fun
The only things missing in Ghost of Tsushima is acrobatic jumps i.e. double jump/flip, parkour and more variety in "ninja" like aka ghost outfits. I always use the Tadayori outfit upgrade 2 in black with the thief wrap and the Headband of Rebirth so I can simulate a ninja. I would love in the sequel if they had more variety of ninja like outfits and head coverings, along with a sword customization option. It would be cool to pick your hilt, hand wrap color, adding of hanging charms to the handle and decorate the Saya (colors, wraps).
You have to realize Jin was raised and trained as a samurai, Not a ninja. Therefore he lacks the expertise and craft of a true Shinobi. Ninjas didn’t come around until the 1300’s. Tsushima takes place in the 1200’s. Guess you can say Jin was historically the first samurai warrior to strike from the shadows in which technically made him the first founder of the ninja way!
Striking a man from the shadows was considered cowardly in the eyes of a samurai for they believed in honor and courage when fighting. That’s why when you encounter a group of enemies you can announce a stand off to fight. It shows bravery and the lack of fear to die all while looking at the eyes of their enemies…

I look at this game like modern tenchu. Stealth in this is literally how i imagine modern tenchu in open world
It would be a nice touch if you could flick the sand from the floor to put out candle lights on the walls for added stealth or fires on the ground

I just bought GoT Directors cut for my ps5.. and by God is this game such a breathe of fresh air. The combat is amazing, and fun to learn. The environment is phenomenal and the story so far is amazing af (I just recruited the Straw Hats!!!) I wish I would have bought this sooner.

Its good you bought it very late because the director's cut delivers more good than what the original has back then in launch,
Also one thing I do suggest is that you don't go to iki island until you finish with the main story on Tsushima, you don't have to do this but I strongly recommend it 🙂
One small thing to point out: I’ve heard that the ‘guiding wind’ thing is an important part of the game (for obvious reasons). If someone perceives it as a divine wind, than that would make it a kamikaze (literally “divine wind”). I think that’s an interesting thing

It's the kensei refined hat from the kensei armor set at level 2 or 3, you can get it with the mythical tale six blades of kojiro. After you get the kensei refined hat you can go to Baku the voiceless when you have completed the game and go onto new game plus and get the dye which is the blue one

Yes that is the refined kensei hat with the gold in it, you buy it from baku the voiceless merchant when you start NG+, the sword is from the camp merchant in base game which you get very early in act 1 just need to collect 10 normal flowers for it, it's called emperor's tears.
I have the same helmet but it's a bit bluish- where did you get that black accent? Is it from the merchant?

Ghost Of Tsushima: the Assassin's Creed we never had.
He and Miyamoto Musashi have a lot in common when it comes to going against samurai tradition; That's definitely someone he should come across and learn from in the sequal,
The video game was awesome through-and-through one of the best I've seen and played thus far, (next to red dead redemption 2) keep up the good work sucker punch; As far as the character of jin sakai goes I do not consider him a hypocrite or a tratior to honor at all, He continued to show himself to be the most honorable, more so than his uncle due to the fact that he valued innocent lives more than the need to appease the rigid dogma of the bushido code for the sake of his uncle and the shogun, they were facing an enemy that was using their code against them to take over the land and the people and jin saw no other choice but to break away from that in order for his people and his country to survive the murderous onslaught of the mongols, Thus it forced him down a path that he was Initially resistant to but ultimately embraced for the good of everyone Which in turn has made him a beloved living legend among his people as well as tsushima's very own japanese zorro, He may have sacrificed and lost everything because of the harsh choices he was forced to make, but he also gained a whole lot more from his willingness to sacrifice and lose everything for the greater good of all and he for a video game character has my utmost respect for that.
His uncle however is the villain of his own story because he was willing to sacrifice an innocent woman like jin's friend yuna to the shogun and blame the poisoning of the mongols on her; something a man of honor should never do, so I personally don't care about lord shimura's pain, he deserves it and what better way for him to suffer more than to be spared and live with the humiliation of having his own nephew and "son" go on to become a better person and greater legend than him, the shogun and the entire class of the samurai. LONG LIVE THE GHOST!!! 🔥💯😉😁👍

Yes you can... There's charms that make it harder, don't upgrade your sword, play it on lethal, one strike you're dead, enjoy.

When I watch all the videos of GoT about the different fighting styles, etc., I don't know how the upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadow can surpass this game, except perhaps in the fighting camera and target-locking system. I have to admit that all the AC games have had a better system in that regard, but apart from that, GoT has set the bar so high!

I have a question : I bought the game last week in director's cut version on ps4 (I have just begun the second act) and I cannot replay the outposts... is it normal ? Do I have to finish the main story to do this ?
If you have completed outpost you can't do it again you can only attack the enemy patrols, unless you have a older save so you can do it again over again, i saved mine in a side tale named (Final Request) where i could attack tons of ronins in a farm, you can only replay duels and missions.
@@OrdinaryDJ I know but I have the director's cut edition... which mean that I am suppose to be able to replay camps and duels... and actually I can't at this point of the game (beginning of act 2)... I just want to know if is normal or if I have to finish the game to access this feature, or if I have to activate something in the options, or if I have a glitch on my version or something...

To make the graphics look good is by playing in dramatic in a low brightness, if you want it more immersive put it on expert HUD.

RPG games? Oh boy, this is exactly like an assassins creed game. Like exactly. The fact you can level some abilities doesnt make it a rpg.

@@Kurt20051YT And yet they will continue doing more of their new so called assassin's creed, more like ubi$oft's creed and also I would rather get arrowed in the knee than buy ubi$oft's creed it's just not worth it, now their plan of making their new ubi$oft assassin games are now left unfinished and if they do that they will plan on making tons of dlcs to grab some people's money, that's what they do now just like AC Valhalla the game was unfinished, there was no end credits scenes neither so then they put the dlcs on the game but not for free that's how they get $$$ so yeah I'll stick with Bethesda way better.

@@Kurt20051YT If i am a game designer I wouldn't make it 60$ I would make the game cheap as 20$ if it's a big game, if it's a small game it would be free also I would work hard and smart to make the game great as ever also if it was a PS4 exclusive I would make the trophy platinum easier just like ghost of tsuhima.
