Good series, Charles. I heard people talking about that plane crash, and it seems like I saw a video on RUclips about hiking to the site. We have a crash site close to one of our major hiking destinations, but I have never been to it, I need to go check it out.

Enjoyed this! I keep going back to Birkhead Mountain and enjoy those old paths. Last week I did a 5-day hike up and down the Uwharrie National Recreation Trail. It was great! Have you been there? Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the comment. I have been all over Uwharrie. I prefer the peace and quiet of Birkhead. Makes a big difference not having 4x4s, side byb sides, and motorcycles like down in the main part of Uwharrie.
I wasn't sure how I was going to edit the thru hike videos. I started filming just the trail. I knew that the trail was going to be a lot about the people on the trail, but I wanted to focus on the trail itself. One of the reasons, I split day 3 into 3 parts is so I could show the trail, some of the characters, and the wedding/party all separated. I am waiting on you to edit your footage for all the Monkey N Around. When are you going to post your videos?

I haven't watched all four of them. I started with this one and Ill be honest there is not enough Monkey N Around in it.
