Great video, guys! Music is my main 'vice'. I'm 23 years old and I don't drink or smoke at all - I get my 'high' from sound. After my brother died in 2014, I attached myself to Wintersun's music. It's a particularly special part of my life, and since the music itself is so powerful and technically brilliant, that helps to further the attachment into more than just sentimentality.

These guys definitely have earned a high place on my metal playlist. Their music, while it may not be what I typically like to listen to, is so...grand. I really have no other words to describe it. It quite literally is art and paints a really grand portrait.

Interesting fact to know is that Jari wrote this song (as well as Beautiful Death) about a period where he nearly died from tuberculosis and had to remove part of his lung, making him hospitalized for a long time. Knowing that made the song and especially the lyrics even more powerful to me.
I have been listening to this album for 16 years and I somehow never knew that was the inspiration. I always knew there was some real emotion behind "Beautiful Death" and I feel like now there is a whole new layer. Thanks!

The aspect I enjoy most about your guys' reaction videos is that they seem SINCERE. I can't tell you how many "reaction video" posters I've seen on youtube who are obviously faking/playing up their reactions just to gain attention and viewers. Whenever you guys are blown away by a song, it feels sincere and not faked. Hopefully that's truly the case!

My favorite Wintersun song.
Yeaaaaaah! It brings so much joy into my life to see you guys fall more and more in love each Wintersun-Day. You still have so much more awe ahead of you from the remaining songs on the album. I can't imagine having to wait one week before each song. It would be like a child anticipating opening its christmas presents, but every week. What a wonderful way to do it too, really. You get to have each song sink in for some time while eagerly awaiting more. I can so relate with you Pedro, for every song I heard, or hear now, I can easily say that it's my favorite. I could say that about almost every song of theirs while I'm listening to it or after. I love Wintersun so much, or perhaps I should rephrase it; I'm IN love with Wintersun. Words fail to describe my feelings.
I envy you guys so much for having discovered Wintersun at this stage. I mean, you guys already have so much material at this point, and with the Wintersun studio being built not too long in the future, Jari is going to throwing albums out left and right.
I discovered Wintersun back in 2007-2008 around 10 years ago when I was just 16 years old and this album was the only album out. They instantly became my favorite band and music to listen to. I had to wait many years for each album to come out, but it's so worth it in the end. Jari is the God of Melody.

I just found you guys last night (well, early morning TBH) and when I saw you listening to Wintersun's Time, I thought you should be listening to Battle Against Time, which you just did! This is maybe my favorite song from Wintersun, and a good soundtrack when I do running in winter.

I love Jari's guitar play in this song so much it almost makes me want to try and learn how to play guitar. Jari truly makes his guitar sing in this song.

Kai Hahto = One of the best drummers in the world, insanely talented guy.
I thought Dirk Verbeuren is the pinnacle of extreme metal drumming in terms of creativity and groove, but this guy is overpowered af.
I knew you guys would like this one. Great song...hard to pick a "favorite" from this album for me, but this song is right up there. After about 100 start to finish listens of this CD, I'm still just blown away by it...just incredible.

In 1997, Jari also created a demo album called Immemorial before creating Wintersun. So these are the oldest recordings of Jari. Why don't you check it out too. These are fucking epic songs: Fly into the sky, A chance to live again, Fading Miracles and When the Rain ends.
And there is also the song Memory by Jari with an insane performance and Solo created in 2001
And now, my friend, he has released even older recordings. Immemorial not oldest at all. Hope you bought the Time Package.

If you like wintersun you should react to Dissection's first 2 albums. They were the first to combine cold black/death metal, and they're still unmatched in that subgenre. 'Thorns of Crimson Death' would be a great song to react to.

I wish I had someone to introduce me to bands like ghost when I was that young :s Unfortunately, I discovered metal at 17 yo....and just in case I am from South America and there metal isnt that popular, they like shit like Pasillos (like doom pop), Reggaeton (it is like hip hop meets reggae and pop), Vein Cutters (Depressive suicidal shit), etc...very embarrassing.

Just wait until next week :) I think now you might start to understand why me and many others were disappointed by so few solos in the latter albums, Jari's solos are just incredible. I think Beyond the Dark Sun and this are the first songs that got me into Wintersun almost 15 years ago.

Ahhh other good band for reaction is Nevermore. Songs like "Enemies of reality" or " Born" or " Final product".
Jorge Antonio de Oliveira Pinto don't forget "This Godless Endeavor"... that song is completely mind blowing.
And before listening to Nevermore listen Sanctuary first... "Battle Angels" is the shit... Warrel Dane's vocals were never as good in Nevermore as they were on that song.

Can you guys do a reaction to Tuska20 - The Anniversary Song, it has many famous finnish musician in it (including. Jari, Teemu and Kai from Wintersun and many more.)
You probably record these in advance which means next week you're doing starchild. Here's the link to a video of the album version of the song, since it's not on youtube. Don't use live videos, they're shit quality (except the tuska 2013 one) and they downtune it because Jari struggles to sing it live, it's his best vocal performance after loneliness.

#HEYGUYS!!! You should do more Hatebreed. I know you reacted to Seven Enemies and you hated it, but it was the worst song from their latest album, you should do songs like Honor Never Dies, Looking Down The Barrel of Today, A.D and I Will Be Heard, those are great songs. Even if you don't want to react to it, you should listen to it on your own free time. Most of those songs aren't even 3 minutes long, so you have nothing to lose.

While this song is a fan favourite, it's one of my least favourite Wintersun songs. Extremely excited about next sunday because it's gonna be truly fantastic! A real highlight of the album. Also, the song after that "Starchild" is also insane and it's Jari's own favourite :)
