I've been playing Yu-Gi-Oh! and especially rush duels for a while yet I've never gotten into a physical card game in my life so I'm really looking forward to rush duels being imported out here. I'll be joining and hoping & joining and coping!
Excellent idea. I’ve been going back and forth on a potential “Sevens VS Go Rush” starter deck release, where the Sevens starter deck has the main aces + random spellcasters and the Go Rush box has random aces + the random Galaxy, and then the first set would be about 7~ish cards to support each boss’ “archetype”. That way, you hit the ball running in Go Rush and start dubbing that to get anime appeal in the West I like your idea way more though. The Sevensgias pack to start off the core sets is genius
As someone who knows nothing about buying or physical cards or marketing your ideas make sense, they're reasonably realistic and they're fun! I just want rush cards in the west so I can try drag my friends in it kicking and screaming. Banger vid Merlin
When you said 8 people I thought the last person was going to be Goha Yuga...now what POSSIBLE reasons could I have for this? EDIT: JOIN AND SHARE! JOIN AND MAKE YOURSELVES HEARD! IF WE JOIN OUR VOICES TOGETHER, WE CAN MANIFEST A NEW MIRACLE! #RushDuels2025
I mean if it did come out over here as someone who knows nothing about yugioh, I would probably pick up a deck of rush to play with my brother since he always loved yugioh.
I think adding some Maximums, Fusions and Equips, from the start, is the right call. The game needs to have some complexity to get the coverage and beat out the nay sayers. Duel Links has been bad at this. If not for Skills the 5 Maximums would fail for the reasons you listed in your old Maximum video. I think having a variety and allow for consistent, lower power MAximums to exist would be the ticket. The Level 4 guy comes to mind because it reduces bricking.
These formats/games can always have time to be introduced, what probably doesn't is specifically the anime series. After DM, how many dubs were even completed? but the cards themselves? Korean and Spanish cards were introduced like 15 years into the game's history and I remember seeing LOB way out of its original time period when it started getting translated, yet somehow they caught up to the rest of the world in a flash..... well, to the rest of TCG that is, because OCG insists on being 3 months in front no matter what and that's always been a pet peeve of mine.
We need rush duel imported because rush duel in duel link has change my view on rush because of the cool archetypes and I really want rush duel to take over speed duel so I can get my yuga, luke, romin, roa, nail and asana decks along with the galactica and voidvelgr deck to play with and have fun with them
Bandai combined a bunch of sets into special release boosters. Normally this wouldn’t be a major issue but due to digimon’s initial distribution issues where there wasn’t enough supply it ended up making important SRs/Rs crazy expensive and prone to scalping. It took a bit till digimon became more accessible outside of hardcore fans who worked to get product
Konami would probably treat Rush like Speed. Crap some of it out, forget some of it existed, and focus more on Master like usual. This is just the sad reality we live in.
I dasagree. We should NOT speed up the rush duel release, but instead at least divide them into 3 formats. Base - maximum - fusion, in order to give people time to understand the mechanics of the game. You can just spilt them into 3 boxes with some months from one to another.
Over a week prior to you posting this video they just announced a new speed dual box with new cards. I don't know if anybody in the comments is aware of this, but yeah comes out in like November..
Yeah but speed duels is discontinued after November What me and a few players are doing is printing the english translated proxies and play the game that way ( there is a website that has every card is translated in english for proxy play and it's the correct translations also)

Konami: Wow what a great idea.
Konami CEO: Do the literal opposite of what you just saw.

What about the sevens duel disk

5:57 what did bandai with the Digimon TCG?

2 structure decks every 3 months would prob work
And a base set every 2-3 months

@@lionhartcaelum6833 yea I actually just saw that. Unfortunate. Hopefully it just means there’s no plans yet and not completely shut down.
