I don’t get the yugioh fandom sometimes. damn near half of GX was goofy ass plots and people eat it up but all of a sudden people are against them with Rush anime.
Comparing Go Rush to GX is like comparing a bad Adam Sandler Movie to a good one. Both have goofy gags but one was done tastefully in a good story and the other was straight trash (go rush)
Ikr? Most “criticisms” of the rush animes till now were subjective at best and downright wrong at worst. (I still havent seen the video as my wifi is struggling rn so i cant judge it). Like gx had alot ALOT of bad ideas, episodes, characters, and downright seasons. Atleast with the rush shows characters are actually consistent, they have care put into them and are unique and arent just “evil duelist of the week”
What exactly makes gx good and go rush bad exactly? Like just saying “its kid friendly” isnt really a valid complaint about a kids show, especially since ever since zexal yugioh shows tend to leave their dark elements to the latter half of the story

Manabu-- FIRE Pyro, Thunder, and Aqua deck Nyandestar (the cat) -- cat /cat girl monsters (Beast/Beast Warrior?) Kirishima (I forgot his name)-- LIGHT Fairy monsters (I am not sure) I am not sure the type of Mitsuko's deck, but it have a lot of "three" words and puns in the cards I didn't include Chupataro as his deck differs from his favorite monster that is the sheep girl
Now this season is on its last legs right now as we are on the final arc. And there are still a lot of questions that still need to be answered. I will say this season especially the last arc tugged at my heart strings and I questioned the sanity of the writers with why they are trying to make the viewers cry.
If you don’t like that characters get brought back to life in Yugioh. Yeah apparently that’s why the writers have decided to at least for now keep certain characters dead for good. I’m not sure how that will last but no solution has been found right now to bring them back.
After Yuga’s duel against Otes at the end of Sevens, he and Kaizo had ended up time traveling to the past in the go rush era, he recreated rush duels there
Love how the backs of the cards are finally just straight up regular card backs. It was like that in Zexal BRIEFLY before they got Retconned back and then changed into a different kind of spiral back.
For me the plot really thicken and started after Arc 2, after Yuna's debut and the series entered THE LUGH arc. After that arc onward its one of the best, the most fun i had with yugioh. Watching Go Rush are really an emotion roller coaster, it make me laughed, confused, sad, exciting. Especially the ending of S2, one of the best Season/Arc ending i've seen in yugioh.
I like this way more than Sevens (I think its only because of the music and directing), but it still has the same problem where there are no serious wanna do evil villains, Im hoping the contact fusion lady makes something good (I mean evil) but her goons dont give me much hope XD
Really? I think this is so much worse than sevens and sevens already was pretty bad but more power to you! Sadly yes, this anime has a problem the last two series with the villains. Honestly, I think they need to tear down and go back to basics for the next Yu-Gi-Oh series

Because Yudias the protagonist is an alien who has never known about Rush Duel before. He has no idea which is why everything must be explained to him at first. That's different from Yuma who knows about duels but wasn't good at it initially. Sure, maybe they could have keep the tutorial shorter but it is how it is.
I don't know this show (nor do i know about sevens, i just know its scenario because of duel links), but if this takes place before Sevens, how can Yuga be the creator of Rush Duel in Sevens if Rush Duels existed 200 years prior?

The animation actually looks worse the original yugioh which came out over 20 years ago. This is a multi-million dollar franchise you're handling there. One can only aspire to have so little ambition in a project.

Basically, in Yu-Gi-Oh sevens the previous series at the end when the main character Yuga went into hyperspace during the final battle before he came back to Earth, he got sucked through some type of temporal thing that thrusted him into the past and he's a minorly mentioned and shown character in Go Rush who has helped facilitate Rush dueling

And yeah you kind of does make it look like a big ass joke but they do need to go back to the original three Yu-Gi-Oh series just get rid of all of the extra something mechanics just stick with synchro summoning fusion summoning ritual summoning and then that's it and if they have to pick either link or XYZ other than that don't do anything else because that's another problem who asks all these different summit mechanics Why can't the game just go back to iconic moments from Yu-Gi-Oh that people love you know. They do need an anime that's a little bit more serious that focus on one of the first three original series and just go from there I mean hell they keep making brand new cards referencing the first three original series in the first place

@@KingKasper Exactly and they're kind of like the faces of Yu-Gi-Oh like the other Yu-Gi-Oh series aren't as iconic as the first three and then especially compared to the original Yu-Gi-Oh series like that's your iconic trio you need to focus on make a series where all three of them can go to different multiverses and dual different people or something but they need to do something and get back to basics because everything that they tried ever sent since 5Ds Just haven't worked I think VRains were close to it but VRains was rushed. And they been trying to recaptured the success of the first three series
