Very interesting layouts, I'm glad the keycaps seem decent as they'd be a pain to replace. If I weren't going hard on switch tech now, I'd probably jump on the 80.
Not sure on the first and last board but the rest are all aliexpress china boards. TM680, NJ80, TM980 lol. Ive built all three of them and are all ok for what they are, I wonder if they upgraded them at all.
As someone who has the have a numpad I love the 95ish percent boards and the 96 here having a knob as well as a 2.4Ghz adapter all for $100 is great. Might look at picking one up locally depending on price.
This is a super helpful video comparing all of Epomaker's keyboards! I was thinking about getting the TH68 because I like the black/white keycaps, but what was the downside for getting this keyboard? They're made by random manufacturers and they're just rebranded under Epomaker? I couldn't fully understand at the 2:21 timestamp
It's exactly that, a rebranded version of an easily purchaseable board. I could build a keyboard with that case for 70 bucks with better switches and better keycaps. If you're interested, I suggest doing it DIY, it's cheaper, more customizable and way more fun.
I’ve had the th80 for a while now and it’s been my main ever since (I like stiff keebs). Just changed keycaps to a SA set that complimented my setup and the stabs for some everglides
@@adiands850 Most YTers don't cover this aspect, but I also want to see this covered. My Epomaker EK68 looks, feels, sounds all great. But their customised downgraded VIA software is so limiting with only a single Fn layer. Plus my Fn->Number row (for F row) doesn't work in Linux. I'm going to design my own drop in PCB for this unit and get that full fat QMK goodness with 15 layers etc.
not complaining or anything but most of these new epomaker boards seem to be heavily inspired off of lesser known Chinese boards. it would be a bit nicer to see maybe a bit more creativity on making even just slight adjustments from these boards to the originals because currently there isn't much of a point of buying epomakers versions other than more retailers selling them. still a nice video to watch though. keep up the good work!
This is extremely common practice in Chinese factories. Multiple companies will sell the same product (or very similar) with little changes. It's not really a bad thing, though, since the products are usually around the same price and might have different keycaps/mounting system depending on brand.
Are the new Epomaker boards exactly the same the Chinese ones are did they may some improvements? I am interested in the TH80 but after reading your comment I'm thinking of looking at the Chinese version.
These videos have a chaotic energy to them
YES I was wondering why I liked this video so much. Very much chaotic neutral 😂
perfect for my chaotic neutral personality

been years since I ever heard the word cibai on a youtube video

the first board looks a bit too similar to the Lychee g66 pro. epomaker seems to be inspiring their new boards off of china aliexpresss ones
In fact all these keyboards you mentioned are from china, the similar one actually just share the same mold and have some downgrades for budget
I really recommend looking into Fancy 081. For that price Its almost a steal - gasked mounted, silicon dampening, lubed switches and stabilizers.
best epokamer keyboard comparation EVER, i hate use to many vidios to see o compare that things

The tm680 part was funny
Binging these videos is great
Aren't they the same as tm680, nj80, tm980 just different branding 😕

@@SilverKing3578 Thanks for the explanation. I'm going to do it DIY and went ahead and bought the Gamakay LK67 (same board as the TH68/TM680).
@@jdawg206A Nice. Well, good luck on the build!
great epomaker roundup!
Not sure why you'd call it chifi, chifi is for Chinese hi-fi products - hi-fi - ch-fi 👍👍👍
Are those gaskets as useful as putting a Mercedes badge on a Suzuki Swift.
The battery is very small it's only "22 thousands" Mah🤔
Why am i in the video

THE FUCKING INTRO MADE ME SPIT MY MEATBALLS
Epo maker is such a great budget brand
It's a shame their driver software is trash.
what is the problem with the software? I've noticed that reviewers don't seem to talk about that aspect...
Not designed for easy configuration and is glitchy. The TH98 has a QMK/VIA supported wired only variant. I am using the wireless version though.

damn $0 shipping fee as well???
