Chad I enjoyed watching you do finish work. Could I suggest you do a video just on the types of finishes, techniques, difference if any for inside or outside pieces. Also what wood or woods you use or prefer. The reason I ask about woods is, I live in N. Ireland and mostly use hard woods, Ash, Oak etc, but I think I can get soft wood, but never caved it. I have a couple of chainsaws & Arbortechs.
All nice work. Questions- 1. How is the wood when you start carving? 2. How long do you let it dry after it is carved? 3. What do you use for a clear coating? Thanks.
What specific paint do you use and what clear coat do you use? Satin or Semi-gloss?
Good times. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing the pup.
We are very excited!!
Awesome plan about the downstate site for working in the winter! Grats Chad!
Thanks!!

Beautiful carvings man, well done. Where do you get your eyes from if you don’t mind telling me. Nothing better than a few sales. Cheers
I ordered a bunch of eyes when I first started carving but can't remember where from.
What species of woods do you use most often Chad?
I use mostly white pine and cedar. Thanks for watching!

How many years did you carve before you were able to do it full time?
