I used to hate Howler as a kid cause I thought he looked like a clown. How foolish I was, considering he's one of the sweetest and most lovable characters on the show. Howler truly is the goodest boy of the show.
8:37 definitely a joke that’s been so popular in so many ways at the time. Which is ironically brilliant especially considering he was still alive at the time
I Believe that was What Voice Actor Dan Gilvezan intended to do with Cooler in his Performance. Basically because Eddie Murphy was Really popular back in the 80's.
"I know I'm a raccoon dear, but right now I feel more like a skunk." I believe weasel would've been a better choice for this situation, also Bratina's bellyaching again, make her stop everyone, make her stoooop!!
Stoneheart purposely waited til last minute. And then sent Catgut to wreck the place. The best bad egg hatched plan of Stoneheart went awry thanks to those meddling racoons! 😁 Pet corner: Getting the right pet for you
Especially since the "Wagga Wagga" episode in #10 literally has Katrina Stoneheart, her spoiled rotten daughter Bratina, and Captain SLAUGHTER pulling a Cruella De Vil & kidnapping a whole lot of puppies to turn them into elaborate fur coats using the insidious Puppy Pounder device. Thankfully for our canine heroes & heroines, the machine is on the fritz without its instruction manual (which is also conveniently written in Chinese, prompting Katrina to rip it to shreds, causing Captain SLAUGHTER to literally falcon punch the machine to kick start it, only for the Pound Puppies to damage it, causing it to malfunction until Katrina & Britana demand for it to be stopped & the Captain once again punches the machine, thus time smashing it into left over spare parts, ultimately ruining the 3 villains' scheme).
The second season really messed this up - in this first season she's like Cruella De Vil and wants to kill animals for profit, but in the second season they dialled it back and she just thinks all dogs belong in cages.
It's because of a consulting firm ABC hired to help them shape up the 1987 season called Q5, who had no idea what they were doing. Not only was Pound Puppies gutted to make it lighter in tone, but that's the reason why all the horrific changes to Ghostbusters went down (changing Janine's design & voice, making Slimer the star of the show, making the monsters less vicious and scary, etc.)

Well I love Holwer. The only character I hated was Katrina.
22:38 isn't it always so DELCIOUS to see defeated Villains like this? Music to my ears when evil villains cry so pathetically @ their comepaunces
i love pound puppies because i love dogs
Oh, I remember watching this when I was five.

A Scrappy Doo squeaky toy? I knew Whopper was my favorite Pount Puppy for a reason.
speaking of which, I'm surprised they never did a Scooby-Doo Crossover episode with the Pound Puppies.
Whooper’s sneaky toy is reminiscent of scrappy doo
just as castrous
there's a frame picture of captain slaughter lol when was that taken

I wish they would make a design for the pound puppies like these puppy dogs
Cool!!
This show taught me trust dogs not cats
I've got a cat who's a bit like a dog. Likes to have his tummy rubbed or scratched, and he sometimes fetches little balls made out of aluminum foil.
19:41 Next time, Gadget!
Did anyone else notice that the voice of baloo and little John was in this episode ^^
Why did I think it Tony Danza voicing Cooler.
8:30
Peter Cullen is Captain Slaughter.
He is Also The Knight Automated Roving Robot, Otherwise Known As K.A.R.R. From Knight Rider.
also the autobot leader optimus prime @@DaryckReese300
It took four people to write this episode.
bright eyes sounds like bart simpson
She's voiced by Nancy Cartwright
6:34 Who the hell wrote this rule? Okay, so they have to be sure all the pups are trustworthy, but this banishment thing seems needlessly harsh.

Howler has been framed
those god damn racoons
they did not know it would cause truble
is Katrina trying to kill the pound puppies
that son of a bitch
no she want to lock them up for years
It depends on the episode, mostly whenever Captain Slaughter is in the episode is when Katrina wants to outright kill the pups.
