- I’ve been to this city around the same time last year, nothing much changed except for the unfortunate fact that many of the sites I visited and bypassed were undergoing renovation and maintenance work.
However, I still want to take this opportunity with my new equipment to show you the look of this breathtaking city one year later today so enjoy the video!

As a fellow drone pilot, how did you manage to fly there because the cathedral & senate square you need a permit to fly. Anyway: nice video ❤
@@SISU-Pro-Aerials oh about that, you need to apply for a permit to fly over the cathedral and central Helsinki zone via the EASA website upon flying, after you’ve applied you can fly in multiple member countries. You can also try to register with the Finnish government if you want to but EASA is more direct. But when your flying, also remember to stay away from crowds and make sure that the drone is within visual range throughout the flight 😁
@@Patrickwang2235 Ah thanks, I know I can apply here at Trafficom. I was wondering if they give permission easily? I never applied before so was wondering what reasons are valids to fly there? I assume they can deny it if the reason isn't good enough? I'm certified and have all licenses, but from experience I'm very careful not to break the law. As you know too well I'm sure 😂
@@SISU-Pro-Aerials your totally right, you need to have a valid reason though this can actually be done by some explaining. I explained that I was filming a RUclips video on a channel that already had some attention on RUclips while also arguing that the video can help promote tourism in Helsinki and Finland, gladly they weren’t skeptical of my reasoning 😅 But of course they can still reject you for whatever reasons and of course you will also need to show your permit and drone registrations but I think it wouldn’t be too much of a headache 😂 By the way, I had a look at your videos I really enjoyed them, have to say your channel is very underrated! We should collab sometimes if you want to on some future videos ;)
