Thanks for this simple awesome Video. This helped me a lot. I thought I had a dead battery, opened it up, reset battery and Viola it was working again, I guess something most of gotten loose? All good now. I love this little guy, AE 1000W only paid $3.25 on Ebay for it and it was in superb shape, not even a scratch anywhere. Shocking.

If you replace the battery but dont contact the AC button, you can access special settings to change the language and stuff as well as having the normal options. Very helpful video!

What happened if change battary without AC reset?

If nothing happen then its ok,AC reset is just some kind of prevention method or fixing issues after changing battery,issues like display not appear normally,missing numbers or features malfunction

Does the battery that you inserted gives 10 year lifetime?

10 years is rated when only time is shown continuously and no other functions are used. However expect 5 years easy with heavy use.
Tip: Try not use the illumination function so often to help increasing the battery life.
I personally will not bother replacing the battery simply buy another one, given the low price tag ....

@@betruly7894 i have two casio. And next wud also be casio. But may be 2 to 3 years later. My 4 years old casio 'youth' is still good. I hv 2year old g shock. Both are 'mud master', 'water master' and 'shock master'.

As long as you put that rubber gasket back in correctly and tighten screws properly should be no worries just take your time and do it properly.

You either lost the tiny coil spring that contacts the piezo speaker that's attached to the caseback, or you installed the caseback rotated so that the coil spring dies not contact the speaker. Or you have disabled all beeps . In that case the display should show "mute."
