Basically if I held CeeDee through this year I'd have to either pay a LOT more for him next year or give him up for a single 26 1st, and knowing my league every time an elite player becomes a RFA they get bid way up. So instead of a 1 year rental I cashed in for low salary, long-lived high upside 1st Round WRs and picks (and Najee who's a perfectly solid flex option). And if I'm wrong, I can always bid up CeeDee myself and get him back for a 26 1st (though I'd have to make some hard choices elsewhere on my roster).
It’s slightly different, but not completely different. I’d still treat the top-end guys the same. The lower end guys lose value because everyone theoretically can have 3 starters and there’s still a few names left after that. But the elite guys are still elite.

Enjoy the content, though I don't know anyone who's selling Jetta, I don't know anyone who's interested in Herbert in my leagues (which are all 10-team 1 QBs), and I have basically Aiyuk equivalent WRs. So in our league, 10 team 1 QB 0.5 ppr, we are forced to drop our benches if we win the league, so my core roster is Josh Allen, Mike Evans, DK, Pittman, McBride and Mark Andrews (higher on them than the other WRs I had), Henry and Montgomery. I drafted BTJ at the 1.08, AD Mitchell at the 2.10, and Burton at the 3.10, but I am obviously very thin at RB. I have 4 more roster spots -- which handcuffs/backup RBs should I prioritize, or should I opt for someone like McMillan/Corley? I'm thinking Jaleel McLaughlin, Tyrone Tracy, Vidal, and Braelon.
How I won the league? Jetta was injured in the semi, and Kyle Pitts put up 1 point for my opponent in Week 17 while the Browns defense destroyed the Jets 😂 I have somehow won 3/7 ships with the 4th best roster on the strength of good D/ST performances lol. The top 3 teams in my league this year project to be: 1 guy has Jetta, Kupp, Olave, Nico, Saquon, ETN, Lamar; another guy has Bijan, JT, ARSB, Puka, Pitts, London, Aiyuk, Deebo, Hock; the third guy has Chase, GWilson, Nabers, Waddle, Kyren, Kincaid. I plan to compete as long as possible and if I'm just getting blown away -- or if anyone gets injured -- tank for Luther 😅

So I hit on Puka last year in a rebuild and due to some offseason misfortune I won't be competing this year either and looking setup perfectly to bounce back big in 25. The Jefferson owner is front-runner for winning the league. Thoughts on trying to turn Puka into JJ with the Vikings QB woes? Feels like a safer, more secure asset overall but not sure if its too much of a "lateral move." (P.S. I am a lifelong die-hard Vikings fan, for better or worse)
