Spider-Man: No Way Home was the best spider man movie i like that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire and too see those villains return Rhys Ifans as the Dr. Curt Connors / The Lizard, Thomas Haden Church as Flint Marko / Sandman, Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon / Electro, Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn / Green Goblin, Alfred Molina Dr. Otto Octavius / Doc Ock the fight between Norman Osborn / Green Goblin and tom holland was amazing i didnt like the ending how they forget peter parker

I was always disappointed with this movie. I love Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and really enjoyed Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, and the idea for this movie sounded amazing. But I just couldn't escape the feeling that I was watching a terrible movie. The script is awful, as it's just entirely composed of ironically-detached humour. That's it. It's the only way the writers know how to make a joke, and ironic detachment is insufferable, childish, unimaginative. It's just the humour of a bad writer who isn't funny so they go for the low hanging fruit. Not to mention that the plot makes absolutely no sense and it's riddled with plot holes. It's as if they realized the challenge of making a multiverse movie make sense, and instead of working hard to figure it out, they just threw their hands up in the air and went "bahhh, it doesn't really matter, just cram all these characters in and people won't care. Magic spells and a magic box, done" ... Horrible.
Then there was the way they executed the return of these iconic characters. None of them were written accurately, so I didn't even get the nostalgia because it felt like I was watching new characters. And then on top of all that, the movie just looks like shit. It's so ugly. I don't understand how anyone can grow up with the Raimi trilogy's beautiful and evocative comic book imagery, and then watch this textureless sludge and be okay with it. It is so devoid of any character, it almost looks like a documentary that was shot on a sound stage. Couple that with some piss poor VFX, and just overall, a very digital, textureless image, it pales in comparison to the previous Spider-Man movies, and even just the average movie in cinema these days.
It's genuinely one of the most incompetent movies ever made, and I was really bothered by the initial pass this movie got from critics. Now after some time, there is a common consensus among many fans of the movie that after re-evaluation, it had more problems than they thought, and this just further reinforces my initial reaction that it was never good. Being in a theater with young sweaty nerds screaming made it seem good, but it never was.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I respect that the movie made you feel this way, and your thoughts and opinions are completely valid. I'd just say, from my perspective, that while the movie didn't reach the same highs that it did when I saw it in a theater (as I acknowledge in this video), I still think this is one of the best MCU movies ever made, and I have a lot of friends who do as well. It's okay that we disagree on this point! I'm sorry you think this is an incompetently made movie, I happen to disagree, but I'm glad you shared your thoughts here and hope that we can continue to have respectful discourse about this movie and others in the future! Thanks so much again for sharing your thoughts!!
