Interested to read in Peterborough Telegraph that 75% of the re-pitch has been completed and the organ will be used at the Peace Concert on 12/11/16. Remaining work is due for completion 'by the end of the year', which is earlier than I thought. So I'm wondering then whether the Hill organ will be used for the hugely popular Advent/Christmas programme, such as Christingle, Business Carols, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day? Would seem a shame to have to wait another year to hear those great hymns and carols.

Fascinating video. Looking forward to the next one. For anyone who cannot wait, Andrew Scott, Head Voicer, is also working on the King's College organ. Check out KIngsCollegeChoir channel on RUclips and a video called Organ Restoration: Voicing. I never realised how bad an organ could sound ahead of tuning until I saw the video.
