Hey great video......I have a higher end 1530 blue elephant with a rotary tool changer and a side rotary along they y axis. I also went to china for my machine. I have had my machine for 5 years, so I also have a good look at the machine as well. Because of everything you stated in your video is exactly how I feel as well. Don't get me wrong I have had good luck with my machine but when you start to really push things is when you see the limitation of the machine. I also have the reducers installed on my servos. I am really sick of the the syntec controller and am ready to upgrade. I see you are as passionate about cnc's as well. The more I get in it the more I love it. Hello! I do not know them personally but from checking their site they have a very diverse range of product. So diverse that I think that they buy machines from other company's and rebrand them to their own brand. Can you visit them and see their factory? There are reall factory's in china but also a lot of resellers that only spend their time on marketing and sales. Not on machine quality. Their site is not bad but if you are gonna spend 20k on a new machine, spend 2k to visit them, and a few other factories to get a good impression of the possibilities.

Hello! yeahhh, I promised to make that video. Thing is the company is getting way to much orders and it is a bit of a juggle to keep everything going (and fun ;) I should make more time for this. What do you want to know? The machine is controlled with Eding CNC, that is a user friendly pc based controller that I can work with. It has a nice interface that looks professional. The servo's are controlled with step and direction signals. That is not the nicest way but is it reliable and simple to work with. The servo's are Yaskawa but there are loads of servo's that are suited (Leadshine, Delta, yaskawa etc). Everything else is just a bunch of inputs (homing switches, toolprobe, infrared screen, pressure sensor, toolholder ATC signals) that are wired to Eding CNC and the software monitors this. Then a few outputs: Dusthood up and down, toolrelease, pneumatic toolrack and that is about it.

Hello. The controller in the machine is Eding CNC. A dutch company that is good in easy to use CNC controllers. For making the drawings and writing the g-code we use V carve pro. A easy to use piece of software that is unbeaten in functionality and options. It looks basic because it is 2d but when used by a skilled programmer so much faster than 3d drawing.

Hello! I have visited 6 factory's in China and visit all the machine fairs in Europe (pre COVID). No serious CNC machine is made with aluminum extrusion profiles. It is to flexible compared to steel structures. An basic machine from quick CNC will set you back about 8000 euro, that is including vacuümpump and a complete finished machine that will weigh about 1000kg. This is without ATC but with a normal spindle. The ua481 is about 30k € but it depends on size and setup. I am doing an installation of this machine in the Netherlands, exactly the same setup as I have in the video and you should consider that that costs about 5k€. Don't forget shipping! That is quite expensive at the moment and I always ship "Fob" with a local dutch shipping agent.
Yes, I think they also work with siemens. But not 100% sure. Syntec is nice if you know how it works. I do not know so I install eding. Also for the people that work for me: they know eding cnc so it is a short learning curve.

I have received quotes from Blue Elephant, QuickCNC, StyleCNC and ForsunCNC. The prices are roughly in the same area (+/- $3000) I have not been in China on factory Visits like you nor seen Any of those routers live. Yes and no. Yes quick cnc makes much better machines than blue elephant (I also owned a blue elephant atc 2040 model) and quick is more expensive but also much more professional and heavy build. Blue elephant sold me an machine and upon arrival the steel of the frame was 2mm thick instead of the 5mm(?) they promised. The other company's I did not visit. My new machine from quick is in transit right now and will arrive in 6 weeks time. Quality costs money and quick is not the cheapest but the best I have seen. No nonsense heavy build machines

The Quick sales person has recommended the UE-481 which has a chinese spindle and is around $8000USD cheaper than the UA-481. After watching your video I think I will go for the UA-481 instead since it looks like a more heavy duty construction and has the italian spindle instead of chinese. Did you upgrade to the German (Becker) vacuum pump??

Hallo, 7 jaar geleden heb ik 2 beckers genomen bij mijn eerste UA481. Bij de nieuwe (2e voor ernaast) heb ik gekozen voor de Tongyou pompen, die zijn wat goedkoper. Tot nu toe werken ze alle 4 prima (2 pompen per machine). Met kun kantenlijmer heb ik geen ervaring maar ik heb wel een chinese kantenlijmer gehad. Ding was simpel en degelijk. Er kwam verbazend netjes werk uit maar verstellen was erg lastig. Een voorfrees zou ik wel adviseren trouwens.
Mooie machine ! Hoe doe je dat, die delen die vast blijven zitten maar toch makkelijk eruit te drukken zijn ? Zelf gebruik ik vaak tabs van een paar mm, die ik later weg frees/schuur om te voorkomen dat delen beginnen te bewegen als ze bijna los gefreesd zijn. En als je plaat bijv 20mm is, frees je dan ook exact 20mm diep ?

Als ik 20mm diep door een 20mm plaat ga blijft het er vaak wel een beetje vast in zitten, maar dan heb ik vaak wel iets meer na-werk.

We just got our New cnc router from quick cnc 2 weeks ago. I Will put the delivery video online somewhere next week. It is only about pulling it from the shipping container and lifting it into the workshop and mounting the bridge. It is not operational yet. At the moment we are working on projects for clients but the video wil give you a good view on how the unloading process works for us
@@brianmoore1655 yes they are. But be aware: no real service from a country half way around the world. Something wrong? Fix it yourself. Know how your machine works and learn how to fix it. My first quick cnc router 5 years old and works every day. There are weeks that I earn 20% of the purchase price of the machine with it. Great investment if you are an eager to learn engineer. But the road to success with a cnc is long. It has taken me 6 machines, from cheap and small to big and expensive to learn what I need to know. Great work with good money but certainly not for everybody. You need to be a machine nerd ;)

Hello. We do not use comprrssion bits much. We normale use 2 flute down cutter for everything like solid wood, multiplex, mdf etc. We only use compression bits for hpl coated mdf/plywood and melamine sheet. I am not quite sure how long they last. A normal 8mm 2 flute negatieve cutter can cut about 1000 meter of 20mm oakwood in one go. That is at 7500mm/minute. And yes, our name is based on the indian Samosa. We were founded in Southwest Afrika, making triangular playgrounds. A samosa was eten much there and is also triangular

Deze monteren we zelf af met eding cnc en dan zal hij over een maand of wat in gebruik zijn. Kom maar een keer kijken in de werkplaats, dan kun je zien wat we allemaal doen.

Hoi! Wij frezen nooit met tabs. Vooral snel frezen met hoge chipload zorgt voor een mooi eindresultaat

Hi Samoza we are looking at a quick uc 2100 x 3050 with boring head with loading and of loading is there much to putting the cnc router together

@@udgamcl basic types, smaller and no atc start at 8k I think. My machine was 32k to buy + 5k in transport.

Hello! I do not know them personally but from checking their site they have a very diverse range of product. So diverse that I think that they buy machines from other company's and rebrand them to their own brand. Can you visit them and see their factory? There are reall factory's in china but also a lot of resellers that only spend their time on marketing and sales. Not on machine quality.
Their site is not bad but if you are gonna spend 20k on a new machine, spend 2k to visit them, and a few other factories to get a good impression of the possibilities.
Thank you for your reply, unfortunately it is not possible to visit the company due to time constraints. I have ordered a standard 1530, I will test it and check the quality. If everything goes well, I will buy a 4-axle ATC.
