    Amazing. So straightforward and logically and easily explained. Love the diagrams too. And just the right amount of explanation vs. demonstration vs. us practising! Thanks.

    Really, really good. Piano player here who struggles to “see” ideas on guitar as well as i can on keys. I knew all of these positions. However, i get stuck in pentatonic patterns. Never thought about playing the arpeggios this way. Seems so simple. I do it all the time. on piano. Light bulb moment for me here. Excellent, excellent lesson.

      Great point Stan. Since the guitar is not black and white like the piano it's hard to "see" how things are laid out. Happy to hear that this has helped you get some more clarity!

      Thanks Ben. Glad you're enjoying this. Once we've laid the complete foundation (next week) you're gonna love the musical exercises I'm doing next so you can get this drilled into your muscle memory and aural skills. And after that, we're going to highlight where this concept is used in songs you've heard and played. Really excited for what's ahead!

    Hi Charl, greetings from Dominican Republic. I have a doubt. Is it necessary learn the major scale seven pattern.
    Thanks for your videos, they are awesome.

    • @WorshipGuitarSkills
      @WorshipGuitarSkills  5 лет назад +1

      It certainly helps to know all 5 patterns from the Caged system but you can start with one and build it up from there.

      Hey Quasar, glad you like it! I didn't use any pedals. For most of my videos I'm using a Kemper Profiler. I'll do a demo soon and in future videos I'll add which profiles I used. :)

    Hello Charl, it is a great video . I'm just a little bit stuck on understanding the shapes . Do I need to know them and do they work for different keys... Maybe it's not for begginers. Thanks

    • @WorshipGuitarSkills
      @WorshipGuitarSkills  5 лет назад

      Hey, yes you would need to learn the shapes and then you can use the same shapes on different places to access different keys. I'll do a lesson on this next.

    • @WorshipGuitarSkills
      @WorshipGuitarSkills  4 года назад

      Thanks Carlos, this is all from a Kemper Profiler. A video covering all that will be posted here soon.

      That sounds great. I have a Line 6 HDPod500x. Do you have any recommendation for patches to get a similar sound or what combination of sounds and settings to get this rich tone?

    Is worship lead different from regular lead?

    • @WorshipGuitarSkills
      @WorshipGuitarSkills  3 года назад

      It depends on the player.

    • @scooter5005

      Hopefully. IMHO someone isn't going wild on the guitar, but I'm playing something for a few measures before the chorus, before the ending, or start and people are cued to worship, praise and feel free or encouraged to seek God
