  • A few weeks back, Steve from Moonshine Metalworks made me this beautiful Blacksmith knife. Ever since, I wanted to make a proper leather sheath to protect it. So this week's build is a necklace leather sheath for the knife.
I used 2.4mm/6oz vegetable tanned leather and red and black leather dye. The hardware is silver color, and the stiching is done by hand. I also wanted to show the process of designing the sheath as the size and shape of the knife is quite different from other knives.
It was a fun build and I like how it turned out. I really hope you'll enjoy the video.
