I gain more inspiration to create, not just in photography, by watching your videos than I do watching all those "motivational" videos.. Something about watching authenticity, seeing someone living their dream, and being successful just by doing them. It's refreshing. Here in South Italy we are in quarantine from March 8th, we live in a 89mt² third floor apartment without a garden.
My 10 years old daughter and my 5 years old dog are going crazy!
My wife got an anxiety attack 15 days ago, and now the situation is very fragile.
Thanks for your videos, they save my shaky interior equilibrium.

Thank you Peter. I've been. Trying to keep people lifted up on Facebook but it's not easy. I wanna thank you for being one of those people reaching out to us to uplift us also. I've been trying but my efforts are poo pooed on by several people here and there no matter what I say or do because some are just miserable and hell bent to dwell in the darkness rather than to find any good to focus on. Man us a social animal and the solitude is the hardest on most all of us. I just hope we don't keep this feeling of distance and separateness when it's all done.
911 somehow brought us all together helping each other but who knew it take a tiny virus to tear apart humanity and make us see each other as a potential enemy rather than to see we're all in this together and need to help each other. I fear what it's changing in us.
I've been finding food thing to focus on and posting them but finally after today my own spirit grew weak and I've started crying. So I look to you wonderful people who still are out there doing it and send you love and bless you for continuing to do all you can. We may have these low days but just rest and regroup when it's lost then get back in there and keep looking for the light.
I'm creative and love it bit this has definitely stifled it. It's hard to create when you don't feel safe or secure. So thanks for being a light in the gray fog pulling us toward a happy place we all need to get to again somehow. Bless you and your family and thank you for sharing this with us.

Buddy, you should totally plant one of those acorns. My dad and I planted one when I was a kid, and now the tree is GINORMOUS! Everytime I see the tree I think back to when we planted the seed and awe in what it has grown into.

This video just saved from sadness, like literally. So a week ago i started doing astrophotography, never missed a day on taking pics and posting it. Then last night i just didn't have the urge to do anything and just coped up in my room playing video games to lean my mind off it. So morning came only had 3 hours of sleep and still felt out of it and i decided to go on RUclips and binge watch something and i remembered i had saved videos i haven't watched, then saw this so i listened to it while picking up my Guitar and bit by bit i started feeling better and now I'm here. Thank you Peter for this Video made my day better. More power for you😄

I'm not "stuck" at home. I'm just home with my wife and cat and couldn't be happier. Life is nice and calm, and people are Finally respecting my personal space. Great time to be alive 😁
1st day of lock down in Seattle. As a working creative this has really thrown a wrench in my plans. When I'm trap like this, it's really easy to fall back into old habits and laziness. Thanks Peter! this is just what I need. time to plan out the next project!

One of the things I've been doing myself, is learning something new everyday; Example, I've been trying to perfect my After Effects skills... Still not very good at it, but, by the time all this ends, I will probably be an expert. Thank you for your tutorials, by the way.

Every time I'm reminded you're one I'm inspired, you remind me and I imagine others that you can be your creative self, live the life you want to live and still have the time and energy to commit to a family (which is of course also the life you want to live, it's mostly you seem to do the balancing well).

As an older guy, sometimes learning is slower as i have to make a few mistakes before I learn how to complete a new task.

First time leaving a note on your site. Love your work, you crack me up! Now that I am at home and not doing as much, I am taking the time to learn more about photography. Have time to watch a few more of your blogs, and brushing up on lightroom. I have to tell you, I bought your bag with cube and a few accessories. I wish it was the first bag I bought, I LOVE THIS BAG!! If it were just the straps alone....I would have loved it....but so much more!, cant wait to get Out of the apartment and travel to give it a good work out! My job takes me all over the GTA as a trainer....so staying in one spot is making me nuts, thanks for your posts, they always make me smile! Did I say the bag is awesome, I have packed it up 3 times and unloaded it, walked around with it.... just watched you, thanks for the smiles and the bag!

i'm only here for the end of vlog stuff with the family. it's so wholesome to see your kid run up to you when you come in!
I used to have a journal where I wrote my feeling and stuff.... the problem was that I suffer from anxiety and depression, and every time I read what I wrote in my journal, I had the feeling of shooting myself (in the bad way). I burned it, and I took my camera and started to make photos about my depression and the feeling that you go through during that time. And actually it helps! I felt for the first time really proud of my work and maybe is not the best in the world but those pictures are unique.
I'm again going through a really hard depression and I stop doing that kind of photos, but. One day I hope I can get back into that photography and feel alive again.
Just what I needed to see as I build up my content, thank you. Major takeaways/reminders for me: "Thrive through the time," journaling, and routine/structure. Love that you brought up the hair issue--LOL! My hair is out of control.
