Will it be really cool if you guys had a diagram that outlined what you did. With some links to the equipment that you purchased. I know that as someone trying to figure out water in my school bus conversion who knows absolutely nothing, this type of information would be super helpful. Or if you had something you came across to use for reference I would love to see it!
Hi Daniel! Here is a link to the water heater we used. Electric 7 gallon hot Water heater - amzn.to/2NgN7mR You can also head over here and download a whole sheet with all of our links to stuff we used: www.colacreative.co/skoolie I hope it is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions!
@@ColaVentures I hear yah.. I just don't want to deal with the exhaust porting, etc. If I can plug in at an RV park Every couple of days then I would be good.. with taking a cold shower in between.. or a Costco gas generator would probably do the trick...
ColaVentures , The straps deteriorate quickly and will not hold the weight eventually. They might be okay if you keep the tank empty as much as possible. The only kind of straps I would trust would be those larger straps truckers use.

Hey man I see you are in WA, my girlfriend and I just got our first bus, what area are you in?
Chris Farley we are in Olympia!
Isn't electric for a bus water heater sort of uncommon? I feel like this would take a lot of solar to run and a big inverter
Yea we don't have a solar hook up... Just connecting to shore power for now so that is what we went with. Didn't want to mess with propane.
How did you like your water heater?
We like it! We stay plugged in most of the time so it being electric doesn't bother us much but propane might be better if you are more off the grid.

Rubber grommets where pipe goes through metal. Locking cover so people can't screw with water supply. Quality over quantity.
Why do people screw with the water supply? What do they do to it?
ColaVentures they can add anything antifreeze , body fluids. People can be dicks. Locking fuel caps , the works , better safe then sorry.
Geesh. I'll look into it. Thanks for the heads up
I got the same grey water tank. Straps won't do the trick though.
What happens to the straps? Do they break or do they wobble too much?
