- Njivice Krk video 2016. In this video, you will see the little, but well-known fisherman village Njivice on the island of Krk that in the last years has been transformed into a well-known Croatian tourist destination.
The awesome nature with endless little bays, rocky and pepple beaches and clean water are waiting to be discovered. In this little summer holiday destination, you can find 3 hotels, a camping site, and private houses that offer great accommodation in apartments, entire holiday houses and exclusive villas for your stay in Croatia.
The footage has been taken 2016, and this year the harbor has been enlarged to increase the number of berths for boats and yachts.
The best time to visit Njivice is from April to October. For those, who like a lot of movement and a lot of people and those who for work reasons can travel only in July and August, the hotel rooms and private apartments are usually fully booked and the prices are at their top. June and September are the months that we recommend for a nice relaxed summer holiday in Njivice on the island of Krk.
There are a lot of activities to follow for young and old, such as horse riding, water sports, fishing, mini golf, snorkeling, swimming, Nordic walking, jet ski, fish-pedicure and more.
In several beach bars, you can enjoy a cold drink during sunbathing or an ice cold cocktail after dinner, opened until 2 o ' clock in the morning. The biggest two of them are called Insula beach bar and Sunset Beach.
Njivice is located at 10 km from the bridge, that connects the island of Krk with the mainland. There is an international airport called Rijeka, also at only 10 km from your holiday destination.
This holiday village is an ideal starting point for various excursions by boat and bus to the island of Cres, Islands of Pag and Rab, Venice, Plitvice Lakes, The Cave of Postojna in Slovenia, The National Park Brijuni and others.
